ZR1 Colors?
I have been kicking around and interested in maybe ending up with one of these cars in the future. The way the prices have been free falling on them is making them very attractive. What colors do you think are the most desirable colors and what are the least desirable? Just wondering what everyone's taste is going to be for the desirable colors.

I agree with the sentiment that you should buy the color you like, but it's still nice to know the stats. I just made a quick graph from production totals referenced in the Wiki chart. This explains why it seems like most ZR1s are either Black or Cyber Gray.

Love black cars (hate cleaning them tho)...M3, C5Z, C6Z...all black. With the ZR1, while I appreciate one in Black, the carbon fiber bits and pieces gets lost IMO. I still would gravitate to darker colors, but for me it would be NRB as my first choice, CG as my second, and maybe crystal red metallic as my third...which would look like nothing I've ever owned before.
In fact, if anyone has an NRB ZR1...please post up some pics.

Partial to black myself. Put the extra set of black wheels on for a period last year to change things up a bit, but still like the chrome ZR1 wheels better. Rest of the vehicles are black as well.

All colors look great, I favor lighter body colors to offset carbon fiber accent to show the weave. While I love dark colors too (including black), I am disappointed that the exposed carbon often gets lost. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I have always loved Black cars and have owned several but then I have owned and loved several Silver cars too. My 1968 T-top was silver and my 2001 Z06 was silver and my 2010 ZR1 is silver. Of all of the Corvettes built in 2010 there was only 115 Blade Silver Corvettes built and only 1157 ZR1s built in 2010. But you have to go with what you like. No one can tell you what you like except you and you are the one that is going to enjoy the car.
