ZR1 badge placement
New 2011 owner and apparently the previous owner debadged the car. New badging is already on order, but I have no idea what the placement measurements are for front fenders and rear bumper. Any help is appreciated (especially pictures)!

By the mileage and typical wear/tear it looks like original paint and carfax was clean. If they debadged it for serious street racing, most of those serious street racers know what a zr1 is with the hole in the hood, extra aero bits, carbon roof, and side gills. The car does look like it was driven (32k miles), but everything has been pretty well taken care of. No offense, this isn't a collector car for me it's my daily driver now. If I wanted a collector version I'd have increased my budget significantly and gotten much lower miles some people just like a clean look with no badging. On some vehicles I'm like that, on this though I'd rather have the badges

I haven't looked at my service manual for MY 2011 ZR1 but have looked in the body repair section of other GM service manuals for this and they all have had diagrams and measurements for placing badging and stickers. If you don't have a service manual for this car and if you do some of your own work it would really help to have one.

Here is the stuff for the rear emblem. I strung a plumb line between the 2 rear lights so that should give you an idea where the emblem centers. Looks like it's at the "A" of Supercharged.
Then measured from the bottom of both light openings to the top of the emblem which is about 7 3/4".

Yeah, the old Fisher Body service manuals did have that stuff years ago. I still have some of them on the shelf from the 69-72 'A', 'B' & 'F' body cars.

I still have mine. Think about selling it sometimes, but know I would miss it. Just always loved that body style and it has the RS package too which is a plus. It didn't have the original 302 when I got it, but I had a new GM crate LS6 454 waiting for a home at the time, so it worked out perfect. Put alum. heads, big roller cam, Doug Nash 5 speed, etc. in it and never looked back. Tire punisher for sure...
It's kind of funny it shows up in this particular thread....I de-badged the car when I painted it. Filled in the holes for the R/S & Z28 fender emblems, for the rear quarter trim pieces and the 302 holes in the cowl hood. Also filled in the W/S wiper holes in the cowl panel, doesn't see rain usually anyhow (but needed the RainEx treatment once or twice when the Weather Channel lied).

I had mine 26 years and I did a complete frame off resto on it in 2003. It was featured in Camaro Performer magazine in 2009. I sold it because you can't do much with a numbers matching car so I sold it and moved on to a 68 Chevy C10. Having fun with that! And my ZR1 of course.
Drove the car for 2 hours after buying it and then backed it into the garage. Less than an hour later the engine was out of it, lol. Girlfriend at the time was pissed, she said "I thought you said the car didn't need anything...". All it needed was a big block apparently. She's the same one that once told me I needed to get rid of some of them cars. My reply was "Those cars will be here long after you're gone". I still have this car....can't even remember her name now...
