Yes, you need a 2010 with launch control for drag racing the ZR1. Not available in 2009 MY.

wasn't available in 2009. ill give you the same advice i was given when i was looking for my zr1. just find a car that was taken care of and checks all your boxes ex. color, miles, options, mods etc. don't worry about the ppm bc from what others say the launch control is a joke, and unless your really road tracking the car so is the ptm. and 99% of guys that road race it say they turn it off completely anyway.

i settled for a 2009 cyber grey with sienna interior with 1,300 miles. i never looked back and never ever worried about launch control or ppm

I have PTM in my 2016 Z06 and don't miss it when I'm driving my 2009 ZR1.

If you plan on drag racing, you will get a better launch without launch control.

Good luck with your search!

When I bought a 10 ZR1, it was important.
After owning it a short while, launch control is a joke. PTM I never used. Just find the right car and buy it.

That's always available to you regardless of Launch Control or not. Just don't lift and don't miss.

But no it would not have the actual feature that you asking about on 2009 ZR1.
