Default 2011 zr1 tpms

Does anyone know if there is a tool available to program tpms on a 2011 ZR1 without going to the dealer? I have tried discount tire and they are unable to do it.

Cool, I will order it up. I just found it odd that a large company like discount tire couldn't do it

There are other tools that will work too, a search here will show what other people recommend.

I use this one, never had any issues.

When you mentioned Discount Tire, did you mean they tried & couldn't get them to reset, or that they wouldn't even attempt it? If the former, any chance your sensors have been replaced somewhere in their lifetime with something else, generic, etc?

Are the sensors new ?

I'm asking because I had some new sensors put into a new set of wheels at Discount Tire. One of them wouldn't register when I got back home (I have a similar tool to the one listed below).

I went back to Discount Tire. Af first they couldn't make it work either until someone discovered the sensor they had used were not GM specific but rather a "generic" sensor. Those sensors require an initial step to "teach them how to speak GM" as it was explained to me. After that was done they worked like a charm.
