I can buy a new 3LT for $4,500 off MSRP, I can't get too exited about saving $1500 and getting a car that is a year old with 7500 miles on it.

You really didnt read what I am giving away as part of the car: $1100 Corsa system; Full set of lloyd mats worth $250; and rear license plate holder $55; GMPP warranty worth $800+. If you bot this car off the lot new, even with the discount you describe, you would still have to add these items. I dont think it's so unfair, but that's my opinion. I can wait for the right owner!
