can anyone tell me what is the cost to transfer a used car from another state to california. i been told that its cheap and no big deal and others tell me that you just cannot buy any car from out of state...

Check the emissions sticker to see if you'll have problems bringing it to CA. You can also look on the DMV website for all the rest of the requirements on bringing a car in. As far as transportation goes, you're probably going to spend at least $1500 to ship the car to CA from GA, if not more. The car does sound like an outstanding deal!
