Default 2006 Z06 Black/Black 2LZ with nav $50k FIRM

The NEW price is $48,000 o.b.o.

I am listing the car on behalf of myself and my brothers and sister. This was our father's car, and he tragically passed away on April 29th, 2008. You may have seen my previous post:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1565924023

I apologize to the admins if I should not have started a new thread, but that one has been stale for a while, and the car is now officially ready for selling.

The court process has finally been completed, the executor of his estate has been named, and we can officially sell the car.The car is currently being held for us by David Stone, the owner/operator of Merle Stone Chevy in Porterville,CA (about 1 hour north of bakersfield, or 1.5 hours south of Fresno) The price is $50k, no tire kickers...only contact if you mean BUSINESS. The car has BRAND NEW tires on it (only about 10 miles on them) It has 33,6xx miles on it.

The only thing wrong with the car is that there is one small flat spot in the right front wheel, probably from a potholeTHIS IS BEING FIXED AS OF 9/19/08. There are two small things that need to be fixed, which fall under the 36/36 warranty. There are some heat cracks in the rear rotorsREAR ROTORS WERE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY 9/19/08, and the emergency brake needs to be adjustedPARKING BRAKE SHOES WERE REPLACED 9/19/08.The warranty is still good until 1/24/09 (which oddly enough would have been my dad's 54th birthday) or 36011 miles.

Here is a list of all the R.P.O. codes for the car:

The roof panel recall has been completed, the panel was replaced.

My dad LOVED this car, he wanted ME to keep it...but it needs to be sold as I have no room or need for a 2 seat car. My wife and son can not both fit in it with me...legally anyways.

Please, do not reply that the miles are HIGH, or ask us to aid in shipping costs. If you want to buy a car cross country, it is not my responsibility to pay for transport, we are already selling $5-9k below Blue Book.

My dad drove the car every day, it has never seen any kind of drag or road racing track. Please feel free to call me with any comments or questions, as we are hoping to move the car as quickly as possible, since nearly 4 months after his death we are finally able to do so.

Ben, I'm very sorry for your loss. Your C6Z is priced very nice, I wish I were in the market. Best of luck with your sale.

We are open to any REASONABLE offers, I was hoping to sell this to a corvette LOVER...just like my dad was. Me and my little brother got matching corvette tattoos (mine c6 flags, his c5 flags) with his license plate to honor his memory. I'm hoping he will send the side-by-side picture of them to me so I can post it for you guys.

No nibbles? Can't believe it. Guess people are too hung up on miles, but I think it's a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I hate the fact that people fear the mileage. He used the car as a daily driver..there was NEVER snow where he lived, and it rained maybe 65 days or less in a year. I would be more concerned about cars with extensive mods or low miles. Components are as likely if not more so to wear out from non-use and light use then from being used daily. He always maintained it properly to OEM specs, that's why there was a brand new set of tires at his house waiting to be installed when we flew out to go through his belongings.

I assure you not 1 single mile was put on this car on a race track. My dad liked to drive his vettes (84,89,00,05,06z) but he was never the type to even spin the tires, or do donuts or anything stupid like that.

I loved my dad VERY MUCH. I was just hoping to sell his car to someone that would love it as much as he did.

I agree with you, not huge amount of miles but I am not sure it is the mileage so much vs. the price for the mileage....on this site alone there are some Zs with much lower miles in the same price that you are asking....

like anything else there is a price that will help people forget the mileage you just have to find the balance there...

in any case, great looking car and good luck..

Those were late 06's where GM started the better warranty.

and starting in 2007, all gm cars and trucks. you could still purchase a GMPP extended warranty before it runs out of regular warranty, through ANY GM dealer.
