tonylmiller/turboo2u; Yes the car has HUD, most everything except nav. I was at a Corvette show yesterday and had 2 people in general conversation offer me $29,000 & $30,000 if I decided to sell it. So I was wondering what a fair price would be, their offers appear to be low given the orginal sticker price of $54,775. Any other opinions out there?

I think it all depends on if you need to sell. I don't think prices will be any lower than they are now until the 2011 corvettes come out, so you have time to sit and wait for the right buyer that appreciates the value of your mods and warranty.
Here's some examples of other low-mile 05 vettes:
33k: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/ctd/1403753301.html
34k: http://charleston.craigslist.org/ctd/1396634598.html
32k: http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ctd/1394282077.html
34k: http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/1390522363.html
40k: http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/1388282951.html
I'd say 30k is a good offer if you need to sell now. If you need 32k or more, it may take a bit longer since most 06 corvettes with 30k or less miles are selling for around 28-32k (by private parties).

I just do not see how 5 year old car can be worth 25% less than brand new 09 vette that is much improved and comes with 5 year 100k mile warranty? Maybe it is just me. There are many new 08/09 corvettes for sale for $39k-$40k 1LT and $43k-$44k 3LT packages.
Did someone ever ask a question how much one would be willing to pay for brand new 05 corvette in year 2009 with all the warranty? I would say $5k less than new 09 corvette with LS3 engine and many other upgrades like:
1. Upgraded rear end
2. Upgraded steering
3. Upgraded interior
4. 6 speed auto transmission
5. 6.2L LS3 engine
I am pretty certain that just the 5 options mentioned above are worth $5k, and maybe leaving out some other changes between 05 and 08/09 corvette.
So if new 05 corvette is worth $35k in year 2009 (assuming 1LT model), then how much should it have depreciated in 5 years and 7000 miles? Probably at least 30%, which would put the car value at $25k. With all the reasoning behind, I would not pay more than $25k for 05 corvette with 7000 miles.
BTW, one gentleman I talked on the phone just sold mint 06 yellow C6 M6 Z-51 1LT for $27k. The car only had 15k miles, garage stored and winterized every winter. He was not in a rush but wanted his corvette sold before winter (he was from Colorado Springs). See for yourself:

bs... an 05 vette with a 4speed is not wort more than 25k, regardless of the milage... i'm sorry, but there is no significant difference between 7 and 20 k miles, only one being that 20k one will have all the recalls adressed, and has been properly broken in. 1SB/3LT don't mean jack to me. HUD can be installed for $500-700... i wouldn't pay 5k more for the butt warmers. so... yea... I wouldn't dream of selling it for 30k... please, anyone, show me an 05 that was sold for 30k in past 6 months....
+100000 on buying a new 09 for $38k! better engine, better shifter, better rear end, better steering, different interior... and it's new! there's a few 08's for sale for <$33k.
