Wow. Just perfect!! Do these Gt500's have the over heating problem like the 03-04 Cobras did during a few back to back high end pulls?
700RWHP. So probably good for mid 10's @ 135 with a tire. That would surprise a stock C6Z I bet!

the main problem with these cars is that they can run out of fuel on the top end if not properly tuned and set up right with the correct fuel mods. havent heard anything about overheating at top end pulls

May I ask why are you moving on? A lot of folks are discovering the 2011 Mustang, even vette people....nothing wrong with owning one of each. The Mustang exhaust note alone is enough to make any vette owner envious...and no need to go to an aftermarket exhaust save thousands right out of the chute....I say keep what you got!
One of my favorite color combos!!!

At this point im open to low milege c6s. I've always been a vette person and want to go back, I traded in a 2010 GS for the shelby. Its a fun car, if I don't find a vette ill just end up keeping it

I too had a Shelby GT500. Mine was a 2010 which was a little weaker of a suspension. I also was not modded.
To anyone who is looking to get into a Mustang, you will not be dissapointed. They are great cars to drive, and attract more attention than any of my Corvettes. For what its worth, I always had girls yelling nice car in my GT500 .
A modified one must be quite nasty. Good luck in your sale.

Really depends on the driver, could go bottom 10's. A local here has a bone stock non tuned 11 gt500 going 11.2's on a cheater slick with crappy 1.6 60's.

Bet this thing is a beast... glws... And from what I have seen a gt500 needs roughly 100 more rwhp than a z to run even... Which means this thing would walk a stock z. These things used to weigh 3950 stock, they went to an aluminum block in '10 or '11 (unsure) which dropped the weight 120 lbs.
