CL, well that's great. I have had many offers from my ad on CL VS here on the forum. Seems the forum brothers don't want to pay a fair price but times are hard and things will be better in the spring. Good luck finding you new ride!

I hope the Economy (hence the corvette market as well) gets better sooner rather than later, but waiting to sell in hopes of a better market, you should also consider additional depreciation, and the chance the market could get worse. I think between Edmunds, NADA, and KBB, the prices tracked at those places give a good range of what is fair. In a down market, probably the lower, range of them is the most realistic.
In a similar situation I recently sold 2 extremely clean Harley's could only get low trade in numbers (off of NADA) I could have kept them, But why keep paying insurance, registration, and ad Valorem tax on depreciating assets that just weren't getting used.
In the end it is a personal decision, but Private Party Numbers at Edmunds (while they are the lower range) certainly are fair, especially in todays market.

I spoke with them yesterday and the leftover was sold. They have a used one, but, it is an automatic.
Criswell has a new CG/red 2011. I was going to make a crazy offer, but, the reality is I drive my Vette less than 200 miles/month and I simply can't see wasting anymore money than I have to. If I find one, it would be my 9th Corvette and my 4th C6. I am starting to lose my enthusiasm as I get older. And, I have never made any money on any of my Corvettes. They simply are a car, not an investment.
