Default New to the Forum...!

Hello Ladies and Gents.

New to the Forum. Looking to purchase model year 2007-2008 C6, ultra low mileage, 1-owner. Must have's......Z51, 3LT, NAV, 6-speed manual, Chrome or polished wheels, glass targa top.

Not sure of color combo's...most desirable???

My thinking is the 2007-2008 C6s are still coming down in price...as it relates to selling prices. At some point, I suspect drop will level out. Have no idea when that may happen.

I reach out to the experience of this forum...to be educated and enlightened.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Andy82,

I agree with your rational, regarding purchase what one wants. That said, I am collector of Pontiac TransAms, and there has been a long standing debat on color combinations, equipment, low production models......as it relates to reselling down the road.

With that said, I suspect (but am not sure) that the Vette's also have color combo's that are desirable, or rare...that could impact the ability to resale down the road.

True...not True???

would you all agree...must have's.....Z51, 3LT, NAV, 6-speed manual, chrome or polished wheels, glass targa top.....?

Model year 2007 or 2008....I am aware the engine change from LS2 to LS3. Perhaps...400hp is enough...as opposed to 430hp.

Hello FordKiller06,

To be honest...I agree with you regarding the LS3 extra 30 ponies. ultra low mileage, 1-owner, Z51, 3LT, NAV, 6-speed manual, Chrome or Polished wheels, glass roof, non-smoker are all must have's. I can wait for the right one to appear.

BTW, your asking price seems very fair for an 09.....!

Seems low. I traded my 2005 with all that, except I had the A4, 1SB (3LT) and 51K miles, and the dealer turned it around at $28.5K. Is yours a 1LT perhaps?

I live in MA. My perference is to find a car in New England, a location that I can drive to, inspect and road test.

Knowing this may restrict how many C6s, with my "must have's" are available. However, I am willing to wait.

You may want to contact Corvette Mike in Plymouth,Mass. They have a large selection of corvettes, and what they don't have on site they can usually obtain.

Not sure, I know it's a Z51 for sure just no Nav or HUD, I priced it low for a quick sale, however no bites as of yet so I'm contemplating raising the price back up...sorry to OP hope this doesnt seem like a hijack of your thread.

96Vette CE.....I have checked Mike's Corvette's. Mike does have a nice inventory. However, my perference is to purchase from a private sale/original owner. Not a big fan of dealer markups.

Saratoga....one of my TAs is an original black/black 2002 TA SLP Firehawk, T-Tops, 6-speed manual, 29k miles, LS1 (345hp), 2-owner, original MA car. Your CE sound nice. A friend of mine sold his 1-owner CE, T-Top, 6-speed, 325 miles, for $23k.

Welcome aboard from another Cape Cod Corvette guy When you find a car you are serious about do a GM VIS/history report to ascertain the car's service/repair history. You can get a picture as to whether the car has been problematic.

Good luck with your search and if I can assist you don't hesitate to contact me
