Default F/S 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition, Inferno Orange, Perfect!!!

PRICE REDUCED TO $76.5K!!!!!

2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Edition #21. I am going to assume that anybody looking at this ad pretty much knows what a Z06 Carbon Edition is and just how nasty and desirable it is. This car is painted in Inferno Orange and is #21. Of the 252 cars made, only about 1/3rd were inferno orange, with the balance being supersonic blue.

This car has the only significant option, which was the NAV system. It also has the factory car cover. What makes it slightly unusual is that the vehicle has the optional National Corvette Museum delivery option and the underside is signed by the guys who did the final assemply of the vehicle (see attached picture). Moreover, this is the only Carbon Edition that I have ever seen that has a MSRP of $104,725, versus the usual $99,xxx.

This car has 1,650 miles on in and is in dead nuts perfect condition. Not a ding, scratch or chip on it anywhere. It has every doodad that came with the car: factory car cover, all keys, all books & manuals, foam rotor covers for tire changes, cargo net, cargo safety security cover, etc. The only thing missing are the two door stickers, which can easily be sourced if the buyer wants them.

I added a mild to wild switch for the exhaust flaps on the driver's dead pedal and a pig tail into the rear view mirror assembly for hardwiring my radar detector (wise idea with this car!!!). Other than that, there isn't much to say. This car is quicker than the Scuderia that I just sold, it handles way better and it is a walk in the park to maintain in comparison.

Asking $84,000. No trades please. No Nigerian Princes asking if they can send me $250K and have me wire them the difference. The car is safely kept on a lift in Southern California and has a clear title. Buyer pays shipping. First come, first serve, as the car is being listed on multiple sites. Call Rob @ (949) 355-6118 when you are ready to let my loss become your dream!

EDIT: I can't figure out how to add pics to my post. PM me your email address if you want a stack of pics, or look at my add on Ebay. Thx.

Congrats on your outstanding deal - I'm not sure it could be replicated.

The new blue one lacks NAV which turns many people off. Some also find my higher MSRP and museum delivery to be appealing.

And people can always make me an offer.

Now go out and drive yours!!!!!!

Also keep in mind that there are a lot less orange ones made than SSB! Your looking at only 85 IO Carbon Editions world wide

Quite possibly the best comeback to a "your price is too high" post I have ever seen, nicely done!!

There is an IO Carbon Z at a dealer in Columbus I am gonna go see sometime this week, outta my price range, but I wanna see it in person!

Good luck with the sale!!

Hey Guys,

Rob the owner here.

A couple people have PM'd me re the Montana plates. I mainly live in So Cal but I spend my summers at my house in Idaho. I use a Montana-based development company that I own for registering many of my vehicles. But yes, the car is safely tucked away on a lift in my garage in South Orange County, CA.

I am the second owner. I bought the car with 165 miles on it. It is the 5th car I have bought this year and it is starting to look like the odd man out as I calculate my future travel and driving opportunities.

I am happy to discuss the car with any serious prospective buyers. IMHO the Carbon Edition is the best bang for the buck out there. It is a quick as a Scud and handles better for a fraction of the cost. Not as fast as a CGT of course, but waaaaaay less stressful to drive and a mere fraction of the cost.

Keep the questions coming. Best regards to all.

Rob

There are several guys around here (higher income business owners) that have all their vehicles registered in Montana as well.

I love your car, wish I was in a position to buy it!!

Coughlin Chevrolet has a new one for sale for less.

Not trying to broadside you, but I think you should be a little more realistic on the price. I think you'll have a hard time getting that price when the dealers are cutting their prices to move the last few remaining on their lots. As painful as it is to let a car go for that much less than what you paid for it, it may be better to wait until new ones can no longer be found.

Any serious buyers are always welcome to make me an offer. I just sold my CLS63 and my Porsche Turbo today, so I am not going to grab my ankles on the Carbon. I'd rather just keep it sine it such a nasty ride!!!! ;-)

No sales tax.

Cheap and easy to set up Montana corporation to own car. Car can still be used anywhere.

Car insured in Montana with declaration to insurer as to when and where car will be located and for what purpose it will be used.

For Canadians, that avoids the importation hassle, federal and provincial sales taxes (12% total here, more and less in other provinces), especially when the car is in Canada for a very limited time during the summer. It allows U.S. dealers to sell to the corporation whereas they cannot sell new vehicles to Canadians because GM doesn't like socialists. GM warranty policy required a car to be registered for 6 months to a resident of the U.S. (which could be a corporation) and have at least 7500 miles on it (for you Derek, that should be no problem.... about 180 laps around Road America or a few more around Brainerd.)

That's my understanding of it.

Derek, I hope that you'd have to declare that you primarily use it on a track. I read that it voids the warranty to drive this car anywhere but on a track.

Yes I suggested the same and was sent a warning!! There are amazing deals out there to be had today.A friend of mine just bought a 2010 ZR1 out of Texas yesterday with 354 miles on it for $87,400 with a full load.I am sure the GM dealers with Carbons on the lot would be very happy to discount them more with serious offers.Must remember they are 2011 cars and the 2013's are arriving as we speak.Just my 2 cents.Good luck on the sale.
