Car went 9.7 @ 155mph on Wednesday leaving off idle with boost at 16psi. It'll be back with intent to hit it harder off the line and run more boost. It still has AC, cruise control, and everything else along with full transmission diagnostic ability.

Did you take it back to the track? I heard you wanted to break into the 8's before you let it go.

I did not. I was going to spray it off the line, but then had a potential buyer and opted not to mess with it. That fell through, and here we are knocking on October. I won't be messing with it this year.

Hey Dave, I forgot to ask when you said you were going to go back to the track and turn the boost up, what hp do you think you were making at 16psi and what were you going to turn the boost up to? I might have missed it but I was wondering what psi were you running when you made a 1000whp? Oh, and all of this is on pump gas right?

The 9.7 pass was about 16psi which was 930whp through the 6-speed. The car broke the 1000whp barrier on 19 (made 1040). That was all through restrictive exhaust... It's all been opened up now with the modified mufflers.

This car runs on 93 octane and methanol. It can run on ethanol too (flex fuel sensor).

Ok, so you can go between pump gas and E85 with no problems. So the fuel system would support E85 at 19lbs of boost no problem?
