SOLD

Well here's the deal. Bought my current Z a little over a year ago. Now has 69k miles. Black with black rims and black interior with red seat bolster. Dyno'd just over 560rwhp. Ported stock heads with bronze guides, SS exhaust valves, and dual springs. Ported intake by Formatto. Has a Vararam intake with throttle body coupler. High torque starter. No catalytic converters on this exhaust although I have a set of American racing hi-flow cats for the car from a friend for an extra $300. RPM level 5 transmission and torque tube/bell housing/driveshaft done about 6 months ago. American racing long tube ceramic 1 7/8 headers with full custom 3" Borla exhaust and a HUGE custom mega-phone exhaust tip. Everyone loves the tip and the way the custom grind cam sounds. Very streetable. Drove it on a daily basis for mostly local driving over the last year. Stock clutch was replaced a while ago and still in excellent condition when the trans was changed. Rear end was checked and fine when the trans/torque tube done. Dewitt's aluminum radiator. C5-r timing chain. GM water pump done while it was apart just because it makes sense to do. 6000k low beams and matching fogs. Switchback front marker LEDs. Lowered on stock bolts with alignment by a local race shop. Just done less than 1000 miles ago when I put brand new Nitto invo tires on her with Roadforce balancing. Top of the line double din Pioneer head unit with Memphis M (top of the line) full speaker system and a JL stealthbox. Doors are Dynamat covered. Interior is insulated. Lloyd's Z06 front mats. LED lighting inside and out. Grand Sport wing. Ceramic brake pads to keep the dust down. Never wrecked. Clean title in hand. I still keep in touch with the guy I bought it from who had the motor done. Roof is 3M carbon fiber wrapped as is a lot of interior.

I've had 8 Vettes now and this one gets the most attention and compliments hands down. I do not drag race or abuse my cars. I have been known to drive at high speeds now and then but that's what the car was designed for and trust me it does it with ease. The heads are slightly higher compression than stock at around 11.5:1 so you get a smoother low end and better MPG. I still get 30mpg at 80mph on the highway in traffic! I'm not even 100% I want to sell it yet. May just buy a built motor in the next week or so and spend a few days doing it.... But if someone has the cash I may be persuaded to sell it. Price is FIRM.

$35k clean title in hand.

No wrecks or issues. If you're looking for a super clean and well maintained beast of a car that has everything you need done to drive home across the country and get compliments the whole way this is it. Brand new tires and under 10k miles on the motor work, Level 5 RPM transmission, driveshaft and torque tube, brakes, amazing stereo system, and had the rear end checked when the rest was done 5k miles or so ago. Any questions just ask.

THE MOTOR TICK WAS A BAD LIFTER. THE CAM AND LIFTERS AND PUSHRODS WERE ALL REPLACED.

Considering keeping it after looking at prices of anything comparable.

2LZ. Cold AC. heater works. MSD plug wires and NGK plugs done 5 months ago. 180 thermostat. May just do a forged motor and coilovers. Then everything except the rear end will have less than 10k miles on it. Similar cars are $40-60k+.

Thing I love about this car is you can park next to a brand new Zr1 (well a 2013) and get just as much attention from 99% of non Vette owner car enthusiasts. More attention for sure when you start it up and hear it's LOUD rumble. I have pulled away from a Zr1 and a GTR significantly before so it doesn't just sound fast

Spoke with my buddy down in W Palm and he advised draining the oil (of course I changed it under 50 miles ago). Said it sounds like a lifter may have stuck or rotated so if I don't sell it this week I'm going to ship it down to him to pull apart. If it's a lifter it will just need lifters and a new cam. Still runs normal and oil pressure is acting fine. If a lifter is bad I should know from the oil. Although I haven't been driving it but Maybe 20 miles since it started ticking so may not be much in the oil (which is good IMO)

PM coming your way
