2006 Z06 With Tasteful Mods
Unfortunately, I got to drive my buddies 600whp R35 GTR last week and ever since then, the thought of me owning one hasn't left my head, BUT, I absolutely love my C6Z and can't really see myself selling it. So im making this feeler post to see if someone else wants it bad enough. Below are the details on the car ...
2006 Machine Silver Z06.
Car is running perfect at 47,000 Miles.
Purchased the car stock back in February and have made a mod list and listed the price on almost every little thing I've bought for the car. The total adds up to basically be $11,000. I've had modded cars and this isn't my first rodeo so I know you don't get what you have invested.
Modifications consist of the following:
NPP Mild to Wild Switch - $90
Smoked Emblems - $20
LG 1 7/8 Longtube Headers - $1200
Header Installation - $300
Airaid Intake - $288
MSD Plug Wires - $70
DEI Plug Wire Socks - $50
NGK Plugs - $20
Tune - $400
Black Widow Cam - $250
BTR Platinum Spring Kit - $310
Cam Install - $850
Cam Retune - $250
Trunion Upgrade - $140
Trunion Install - $100
Timing Chain - $60
Gaskets and Seals for Cam - $55
NT05R's at 46k Miles - $850
Invos - $500
Carbon ZR1 Rear Spoiler - $375
Tint Lights and Sidemarkers - $125
Black Headlights - $1100
Muffler Mod - $200
Carbon ZR1 Front Spoiler - $400
Hawk Front Pads ( New in Box but not installed ) - $150
Lowering Bolts - $40
Black Roof / Halo Wrap - $200
McLeod RST Clutch - $700
Ported Throttle Body - $75
RAM Flywheel - $275
Tick Master Cylinder - $320
GM Slave Cylinder - $230
SpeedBleeder - $60
Clutch Install - $1000
DSS Torque Tube Bushings - $400
Torque Tube Bearings - $180
When I purchased the car, the owner had only upgraded the center console to a 08 console and claimed that they had all 16 stock valve guides were removed and replaced with bronze guides, the stock two piece sodium filled exhaust guides were replaced with 1 piece stainless steel Manley valves, and the factory titanium intake valves were reused, BUT, he had no receipts and I went off his word and when purchasing the car. When I installed my cam, I had them remove the heads and inspect them. As he said everything was great, so this LS7 is at a piece of mind and no valve dropping should ever occur. Other than the head fix, I purchased and had all of the modifications above done after purchasing the car stock so I could make it exactly how I wanted it. Everything was professionally installed and tuned and have receipts. I have the original window sticker for the car listing it at $71,000 and some change.
The interior of this car is in fantastic condition, along with the exterior. The front bumper does has a 3M Clear Protection bra on it along with the side mirrors. The car has always been garaged kept and taken care of. My price on the car is going to be $45,000 firm and wont take any less. By the time you find "the same car" around 40k, and you want to mod it, you'll have alot more invested, where if you'll be financing, you can look at it as your mods are financed in your payment and wont come out of pocket at once.
I sold my last 850whp C5Z up here quickly and the new owner loves the car, along with selling practically every stock part off this car. Im good seller and try to be as straight forward as possible.

UPDATE - June 2nd, 2014 - Since this post was made, I had many "I love your car and I'll buy it as soon as I come up with the money" type of people, but no real serious buyers do I started to lean towards keeping the car.
Since I thought I was going to keep it, I since then have spent about another $6,500 on it. I've added $4,000 iForged Aero Wheels ( Chrome and a extra $150 per wheel to be cleared for easy cleaning ) and a $2,500 on a Nitrous Outlet Plate Kit with installation. The car makes 550whp on Motor and 650whp on 100 shot. It's hasn't even been sprayed an entire bottle. Only about 2-3 times .... My girlfriend just likes to play with the purge button, lol.
Car runs, drives, and performs great. Only selling because I'm back to the GTR buzz. Even after this additional money has been spent, my price of the car is the same at $45,000.

Just for reference, I sold the EXACT same car with the same mods, mileage, plus Vossen wheels, built WCCH heads and nitrous for $40K. I know you want $45K and it's a beautiful Z, but you don't ever get much $$ back on mods.
On RWHP, I'd guess 580 with un-ported heads and intake.

Why would you guess 580 without ported heads and intake when yours made 575 with ported heads/intake? Lol.
It make 550whp/500wtq
I don't really want the car to sell. I just threw it out there. And I have a new in box nitrous kit I bought for the car that I never installed. Haven't even finished breaking the clutch in as I just picked it up from the shop installing it the other day.

I know 3 local cars, with the widow cam and practically same mods. All tuned by different shops. All making with 5-10whp of each other.
Don't let a dyno number sell you. Tuners can basically make them read what they wish. Trap speed is what sells me. Mind me asking what you trapped when you made 550?

I haven't dragged race this car, as I refuse to. But a friends old car with the widow, same headers, throttle body ported by same shop, just a K&N intake instead of airaid like me, same tires, tuned by the same shop, he made 3whp more and 2wtq more than me, went 11.0@137 with a 1.8XX 60'
Between his car and yours is the perfect example the dyno numbers don't mean too much. My tuners dynojet does seem to read a little lower than some others, but in the end "it's just a number".

I had a pleasure to meet Marshall and drive away in my new car from him. Very honest, helpful individual that I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car if he didn't switch his cars that fast :P
I wired large amount of money to him, kept in contact through phone/email/video, he did everything I have asked him to do without questioning it. I can vouch for this seller with confidence that next owner will be happy as I am.

Thanks Zeek!
Lots of interest here in the past 24hrs, but 40k cash will not buy the car, guys. I might could possible wiggle a little for someone who needs to ship it, but will not be moving 5k.
