With the way Z06 sellers are trying to get $40k's for their 2006s....The Zr1 sellers should do the same($70k stiff)...hell why not... As much as it frustrates me for z06s...i say Zr1 owners tell all lowballers to buy themselves a Z06.
Zr1 prices is proof z06 sellers are out of their minds. $50k for an 07 cause it had a cam and coilovers installed 10k miles ago and beat up? Lol

But like anything, you can sit on the porch and yap, or you can pay what it costs to drive a car you want. As the saying goes, each day that goes by is one less day to live. Pay 95K for a 2013 and you probably lose 15K+ over the next year, but that's only abut 15-20% and I have news for you, high dollar exotics depreciate like that as a general rule.
Life is to short to just sit on the fence.

If you are a Z06 owner and want to be ZR1 owner, might be a good idea to sell now, drive your other car (if you have one) for two years, and then buy a used ZR1 in 2016.

I got 40 at an auction here in montreal for an 07 Yellow Z06 with 42000 miles and $44000 for a black 08 with 24000 miles and bald tires.Both cars were full option cars with navigation.The guy who bought my 08 re sold it for $47900 to a retail buyer.

You'll be able to steal a ZR1 this winter. Just wait and see, especially if the new cat comes in with a base of hi 70ties low 80ties. Everyone will want one, that is except me.....

I sold my 07z perfect built cam only car with 53k miles lil over a year ago. Listed it for 38k. I guess I dont want to haggle and just wanted to sell it.

Get on ebay and cars.com several are out there. Or just email a guy on here. Typically if it's 42k asking they will go sub 40k. This is especially true for dealerships.

I'm not searching them out to prove it, but C6Zs have been selling for under $40k for years; it used to be just yellow 06s (back in 2010 or so), but now 08s hit high-30s fairly often
