If you want a Zr1 just buy it .They may drop at first but once they make lots of c7 z06 cars the Zr1 which is no longer produced will go back up a little.

Probably bottom out around 40k with the viper. Now way a zr1 appreciates that's wishful thinking.

You must post an asking price if you're making a sales post.

It took me less than 15 seconds to find his asking price.

As a buyer I would love to see one with decent miles come down to around $40k! That would be tough to resist!

I had already found it, but it's not appropriate to make a sales post in this thread without an asking price in the post where the sale is offered. A link to the sales price is okay, but not by someone other than the one selling it.

To answer your question, I don't think the ZR1 prices are going to dive into the toilet overnite. That said, the issue the ZR1 seller faces, is that the ZR1 only appeals to a buyer seeking or can be happy with a solid fixed roof manual only previous generation street supercar. As we all know, the C7 Z06 is going to be available in all flavors. If it were me, and I was looking for the best price, I'd wait till the new Z06 hits the street. My guess is a ZR1 that would sell for say 70,000 now, could probably be had for around 55,000. Course it's hard to predict future pricing. The C6 Z06 pricing has really held up so far, but it also may go down the tubes somewhat when the C7 Z06 effect takes over, even though the C6 Z06 really competes more with the C7 Z51 than the future C7 Z06.

When are the dealers going to wake up and start dumping these cars. I've seen ZR1 's on some lots for over a year. And people still asking ridiculous money for them. Unfortunately they are going to be blind sighted when the ZO6 is priced. ZR1's will be everywhere.

I'm eagerly waiting. I almost picked one up for $68k a couple of months ago. But it hit me that they will go down more and most won't have that many more miles put on them. Win, win.
My guess would be leveling off around $50k after the new year. Maybe even mid 40s for a 09/10.

That is one heck of a car for 62k, around half the price of it when it was new.

Asking doesn't mean getting that amount. It's weird how 40k seems to be the floor for high powered sports cars. Still I think the new z06 will knock the C6 Z06 down into the 30s asking unless the asking price is six figures.

Default One car has nothing to do with the other.

The client with 40 k to spend for a c6 z06 has no intention of buying a c7 z06.The new car will not affect the old car s pricing.

I would never buy the first yr C7Z as there is always issues to be worked out. Wait till the 2nd yr then buy.

Does this really belong in this section?????

2016-2017. There was a nice one on ebay for 62k last week with 20k miles. Might still be there. Could be there quicker than that but I doubt it.
