WTB: 2007 Z06 Ron Fellows Edition
I am in the market for a 2007 Z06 Ron Fellows Edition only. Car must have under 10k miles and be in excellent condition. Trying to get an idea what's out there and what I should pay. Any input would be awesome! Thanks!

Dealer south of Chicago has a 1900 mile one for asking price of $58,355. Name is Bill Kay Corvettes. They also have a Chevy dealership.

2007 Ron Fellow w 1700 mile, $59,900
His collection is absolutely top notch and his reputation for corvettes is the best.
I personally purchased a 1992 yellow LT1 from him in 2000
There are NO disappointments.

I do not get the allure of the RF cars, under $50,000 yes but not $60,000, that's crazy. No way I would spend even close to $60,000 for 2007 car. You can find a 2012-2013 White Z06 for the same money and its MORE RARE then a RF car and you even get a warranty, newer upgrades, etc.
Original poster look for newer Z06 for anywhere close to that money.

Wow or you could have a 2013 427 Convertible for the same money basically.

They seem to demand a premium because the window sticker said "Special Edition" on it. There's one for sale here on the Forum at a very premium price as well - looking for a discerning buyer since March of this year.
Just look for a 2011 Crystal Red and linen interior - same (or less) money in some situations, and of course much more "rare" based on volume alone if that matters. IMHO, just buy the Z06 color combo you like and drive the **** out of it. Nobody is making money at Barrett-Jackson anytime soon.

Those are low miles for sure. I am not a market expert by any stretch, but I'd ballpark 45-52k depending on the year. It gets harder to finance an older car, which limits the buyer pool. And let's face it, the newer cars go before the older ones so a 2011 will command more than an '08 with the same miles by several thousand dollars.
People will pay for a specific color - but GM made sure that there was nothing unique about the Special Editions by offering the same color and wheel combination within 2 years of its release.
Might as well say 2006 Sunset Orange and Lemans Blue Z's should all command $50k. There's a 2009 ZR1 for $63k for goodness sakes!
