We were talking about low mileage 08+ Z06s that are a more desirable color.

This imho is a retarded comment....

If op can't find an almost 8 year old Z, for around 40k, then some people here are dilusional about the value of a c6z

OP please look elsewhere besides these forums if you can't find one. Don't let ANYONE tell you it's not possible.

I see 07z06s in the low 30s here in Houston often so I'm sure you can find an 08 for 40. Good luck my man

The op will have no problem at all. Just don't look on the forum here for those cars. Very nice cars for sale on here; base, gs & Z, but 9/10 are very over-priced people all say your car is worth sh*t, but sell for retail +20% and add value for mods.

I know of one if you PM. An 08 Jetsteam blue, 19K, ebony at a very reputable corvette/chevy dealership. 42K beautiful conditioned car.

See I set my limit at really $40,000. If I am going to spend more I should just save up and get a ZR1 or a new corvette. You have to draw your line somewhere. What also does not help, is that I am only 23 years old and right out of college; so banks are not too keen on giving me a loan even though I am a Mechanical Engineer.

Is it really worth the extra money to get a 08+? lets assume miles are the exact same.

Fresh out of college? Just starting out? If you have student loans, DO NOT BORROW MONEY for a toy car! Not a popular answer, but it needs to be said.

No loans, I got very lucky, so I only have an apartment payment. My apartment has a garage too. I not ready for a house, too much work.
