How about a bump this morning. Plus adding quite a bit more wiggle room if anyone is interested.

For those who have never driven one, it's a feeling that just want let go.

I sold my 2011 Callaway convertible, 3LT, auto, Cyber Gray with black/gray interior, all options, just turned 16k miles for $59,900 last week after being on the market for a week. I sell Corvettes for a Corvette dealer and know that the key to selling quickly is the right price. Yes, I had hoped the market would bear a higher price for this immaculate Callaway, but, unfortunately, the C7 is drawing potential buyers away from these Callaways. You and I know there is no comparison, but that's the way it is right now. If you want to move that Callaway, you are going to have to re-evaluate the asking price, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the advice. I have added quite a bit more wiggle room as I call it. Or in common terms the price has been lowered considerably.

I am/was surprised that a Callaway does not do as well as I thought they would in value. Even before the C7 arrived. Had 2 so far (2011 SC572 Camaro for 10 months and 09 Corvette vert). I am on my last and probably will die in this one. I did not buy them for resale but had a long desire for a Callaway since the late 80'S. The 2013 is a beast and I enjoy it every time I start it up. I think you understand my feelings behind the wheel. Save the wave.

I am also surprised that the Callaway doesn't seem to be drawing interest right now as they have in the past. As I said before, I have been selling Corvettes for more than 9 years. When a Corvette doesn't sell, it is the price. Those of us who own or owned Callaways want them to be worth more, but that doesn't seem to be the way it is now. I sold mine in one week. I would have liked more money, but I'm happy with $59,900.

Regards,
Elaine
