Too good to be true? Do I need to raise the price? I thought I priced it very reasonably for a quick sale. I think a lot of cars similar to this are priced around $38k but won't actually move this time of year unless they are a little lower. That's why I priced it lower to start with to keep it moving quickly.

The car had a failed engine and I bought a brand new GM crate engine and had it installed at Katech. Yes, it is owned by me.

The factory nav sucks. Can't believe someone is upset that it doesn't have it. Use your damn smart phone to navigate and buy this car.

1. Amen, brother. Now that's funny! If I were in the market for a yellow C6 Z06, I sure as heck would not let the lack of NAV keep me from scooping up this one.

2. I have followed Jason's offerings the last 12 months and found them all to be very reasonable deals on very attractive cars.

3. Most on CF know that the early C6 Z06's (06-07's?) had problems with the valvetrain (others please add, correct me if I am off on this). I believe there was a weakness in the valves, which, should they fail & hit the top of the pistons, resulted in engine failure. (This can be researched right here on CF.) It's not a disaster when your $15,000 (!!!) LS7 breaks under warranty, but sure is when you are picking up the tab.

4. THIS HAS BEEN CORRECTED IN THE NEW LS7 AS REVISED BY GM & USED IN THE NEW Z28 CAMARO W FANTASTIC SUCCESS!! (See Nov. 14 Motor Trend, where the new Z28 w LS7 was named 2014 Best Driver's Car.)

5. My point is: Jason & Katech have installed a corrected, new crate LS7 in this Z06, and somebody is gonna get a great deal at $34k.

6. Jason, it may help if you describe the exact warranty here for the new LS7 as installed in this '06.

Hate to turn this into a valve thread but you mentioned it and asked to be corrected if wrong... there's no difference in the valvetrain from 06 to current ls7 engines. That being said this engine will go for a long long time, I'd love to have a brand new ls7 if I were buying another z06. Priced extremely well and I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet! Good luck with the sale, I would have already bought it if I didn't have one

6. There is no warranty with the vehicle. I don't think GM provides a warranty on crate engines if they are not installed at a GM dealer. The Katech warranty on workmanship only goes to the original purchaser which in this case would be me.

Great price! Aftermarket NAV easily added for a few hundred bucks so this is a steal!

Guys: remember to not take a dump in someone's F/S thread regardless of the topic (don't argue about valves!)

Is this car still for sale?? My bother is looking for a Z06. He wants a used one because he won't be driving it much and his wife won't let him buy another $100,000 vehicle. He just bought a new 2015 Escalade. Lol Correct me if I'm wrong but you did say no warranty at all. Please message me..
