Default Fs 08 jsb totaled

Hi,

Unfortunate thing happened. Was driving in the rain, the back end came out and i couldnt counter it cause traction control was on. Car spun and hit the guard rail with rear right corner.

One muffler is bent. The right rear quarter panel is done and bumper is done. Frame in the rear is bent (could be repaired, but insurance doesnt want to fix it).

Car has 40k miles. 2lz. Im second owner. 5k miles on the new head (american heritage performance package 4...)
Jba headers, xpipe
Killer bee cai
Car put down 520whp/517 tq
Afx rotors all around (front are almost new) with new brakepads
Bilstein drm shocks
Dsv custom steering wheel
Interior insulated
Kenwood navi with bluetooth

Insurance should tell me the buy back here any minute/day. Im not looking to part the car, sell as a whole and asap. I know policy on price, as soon as i have it ill post it.

Its in monterey, CA

Got the insurance buy out: $15750. I want $3500 on top (they didnt count my mods yet).

Need this sold within 5 days. Local buyers much prefered. Monterey CA

I agree. Sorry for your loss. Rather than calling this interfering in a For Sale thread, let's call this a little friendly advice:

You're asking $19,250 for a totaled 08 JSB coupe w a bent frame, in 5 days or less. Unless that is your shop and you have access to the Overhaulin' Team, why not grab as many of your mods off the car as you can, call ins. co. and tell 'em to come 'n git it, all 200 pieces.

. Car had to be taken apart to determine damage (for insurance purposes), i took photographs to show the extent of the damage under the panels. Car is back together now (without quarter panels though).

As far as the price, this is a curtousy post. I had those mods listed on my insurance, but in the payoff they didnt count them. So if i dont buy it back, i can still fight with them about the mods. As of now i havent bought it, i have to tell them yay or nay here in 5 days. If no one wants it, ill just give to the ins company

Wow, I have bought many salvaged motorcycles to turn in to race bikes but for pennies on the dollar. Good luck with your asking price.

For a Zo6 I dont think the price is out of line. Ive rebuilt worse and if I was in the market I'd be calling.

Like i said guys, the insurance buy back is $15+k. I was hoping id be 12 or something. If i dont have legitimate buyers by tusday ill tell them to keep it and will fight my mods with them (i had them listed on the policy).

Ok, i didnt get an offer, so today i gave it back to insurance and will try to get some reimbursement of my parts (as they were listed on the insurance policy).

This is a very sad day, i was really hoping to see it go to a good home, this was by far the best car i have ever owned and i have put a lot of time into it freakish accident caused this, and my dream car came to an end...

Now im desperately trying to find a replacement which is close to impossible... This car was a monster in all sense of the word.

Mods, pls close :'(

What tires did you have on the rear that caused you to spin out or were you having a lil to much in Cancun Mexico?
