2008 Z51 Corvette Coupe with performance and visual modifications. 30,500 miles for $31,000. It's an automatic with a removable hard top that has performance on par with a Z06. Victory red exterior with two-tone ebony and titanium interior. 2LT trim level includes side impact airbags, 6-way power seats on both sides with driver power lumbar support and side bolsters, rear luggage shade and parcel net. Z51 performance package provides extra cooling, stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, specific shock absorbers, larger brakes with cross drilled rotors, and 2.73 rear axle ratio. Standard features include: Dual zone automatic climate control Air Conditioning, AM/FM Stereo with CD player and MP3 playback, 7 speaker system, XM Satellite Radio, Electronic Cruise control, Rear window de-fogger, Power programmable door locks, power hatch release, keyless access with pushbutton start, auto-dimming mirror with compass, Onstar capable, Sport bucket seats with perforated leather seating surfaces, Tilt steering wheel, theft deterrent system, tire pressure monitor system, power windows, fog lamps, Xenon HID headlamps, heated side mirrors with power adjustment and auto dimming, removable roof panel, Active handling, 4-wheel antilock brakes (larger drilled rotors with Z51 package).
Performance modifications: Stock engine with bolt-ons including: Stainless steel long tube headers with X pipe (no cats) breath through stock dual mode mufflers with mild to wild switch, Vararam cold air intake, custom tune using HP tuners software, Carbotech Ceramic brake pads, Elite engineering 1/4" aluminum tunnel plate. Performance is outstanding. Estimated horsepower is around 490. Handling is enhanced with the tunnel plate. Transmission shifts much quicker than stock. All tune settings are safe, torque management and knock detection are intact. Dual mode exhaust opens up under heavy acceleration or with the push of the "mild to wild" button. The sound with the mufflers open is very racey, but with the stock mufflers closed it sounds perfectly quiet for highway or in town cruising. Stock exhaust manifolds, mid pipe, cats, and air filter system are included, but not installed.
Appearance modifications: Color matched rear spoiler with 39 LED's, Color matched door handles, GM custom splashguards, Chrome Z06 style spyder wheels in stock sizes, custom Lloyds corvette racing floor mats. DS Vettes console armrest in matching leather, Leather elbow savers on the armrest on the door panels, Vettebin with partition. It is lockable and lighted on one side and doesn't interfere with the top storage. Great place to lock your concealed weapon when you have to leave it in the car! Rear fascia protector and rear cargo mat. I installed the JWM Motoring seat foam kit where the stock bottom seat bolsters break down. This made a huge difference in not only looks, but also in comfort. There is also a set of silver split spoke wheels with Hankook V12's that are about 60%. There is no curb rash on either set of wheels. There are tpms sensors in both sets of wheels and I will include a tpms programmer to go with the car. I also have all of the sales literature and HP Tuners software and cable with 4 credits that will be included as well as the original tune stored on a memory stick. Battery is just under a year old.
Underhood appearance: Billet aluminum caps, polished alternator cover, polished fuse box cover, custom painted hood insulator, vararam cold air intake with trim cover, billet dipstick. (see photos).
Condition: Paint is in excellent condition. Many coats of show wax are always protecting the paint. Only a couple of very minor rock dings are present. Interior looks like it did when I picked it up. Brakes and tires are in great shape. Tires are Firestone Firehawk 500 and have about 800 miles on them. They are much quieter, ride and handle better than the stock Goodyear supercar tires. They are not run-flats, but a puncture plug kit and pump are included that can be used in an emergency. Tires have never been repaired or plugged. Mobil 1 oil change performed every year (or more).
You will not find more performance for your money. I am confident that the new owner will be extremely pleased with this car in every way. The car is located in N.E. Texas.
Beautiful car. Have you swapped the cam or had head work? 490 HP with exhaust/CAI/tune is stout...
No cams or head work. I am basing the HP on the original owners information. He was an engineer that did the lions share of the work, but I don't know that it was ever run on a dyno. I am assuming he was estimating it as a gross power and not rear wheel.
