SOLD: 2010 Z06 -- Torch Red
Car has been SOLD
Car is located in Northern, CA -- Sacramento area.
• 3LZ equipment package with Dark Titanium and Ebony interior (2010 and newer Z06’s with the 3LZ package provide a power passenger front seat along with inflatable bladders for passenger bolster and lumbar support positioning. All 1LZ and 2LZ packages for all years and all 2009 and earlier models, regardless of equipment package, have a manual passenger seat adjustment and no adjustment for lumbar and bolsters.) This package also includes custom leather interior, heated seats, Bose premium sound system, telescoping steering wheel, & memory package.
• ZR1 style rear spoiler.
• Competition grey “spyder” wheels.
• Carbotech 1521 “Bobcat” brake pads – provide stock feel and street performance but with much less dust. Not for track use (autocross ok).
• Michelin PS2 ZP (runflat) tires with approximately ¾ tread remaining (previous set of PS2's lasted 30,800 miles).
• Apsis front splash guards.
• “Muffler Mod” (covering a perforated tube on the interior of each muffler to provide louder, ZR1-like exhaust note) has been performed on stock dual-mode exhaust system. System includes a custom fabricated X-pipe and a “Mild-to-Wild” exhaust controller.
• Engine is stock, right down to the factory air filter -- never been modified nor tuned.
• Still under original factory drivetrain warranty -- expires on 5/14/2015 or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
I purchased this car new and have been the sole driver thruout, and it's been regularly serviced by Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista, CA. It has approximately 54,100 miles on it, much of which has been gentle highway miles accumulated while touring around the western U.S. The car is in excellent condition with no issues to resolve at all.
Original MSRP was $84,550.

This extremely clean car needs a new home. Here's a photo of the engine compartment.

This could be a nice alternative to a C7 Stingray -- at a savings of about $20,000. And the Z06 is still a bit faster. .....Just thinkin' out loud.

On another subject, several people have asked, via PM and personally, about the LS7 valve guide issue that existed on some Z06's. The factory recommended fix has been to replace the cylinder heads which, of course, includes the valve guides. Abel Chevrolet has replaced the cylinder heads on this car, under warranty, with new GM heads.

It's still available, Tannman, and still on display at Bill McAnally Racing. I've had a lot of nice comments, particularly about the beautiful detail job on the paint -- it really does look nice. Unfortunately, that "right buyer" has not yet arrived.

Here's another photo that shows the Dark Titanium leather interior trim on the dash, center console, seat inserts, and door panels. The 3LZ extra leather interior is really a very nice option. It even includes padded armrests on each door panel.

Here's one more picture showing the 3LZ leather treatment on the door panel. The Dark Titanium insert above and the padded armrest below are 3LZ inclusions.
