505,
Have you tried listing it on Dupont or some high end auction like Barrett Jackson or Mecham? You will find a crowd there that would be much more likely to buy this Corvette. I personally think that, because the miles are so low, it is scaring people away on here because they think that the car belongs in a private collection and they wouldn't want to put miles on it. I'd bet that well over 99% of prospective buyers on here are going to buy a car to drive...even if it's only 1-2K miles per year. Again this is just my opinion.
I fully believe your car is priced right and I wouldn't ask a dime less.

Looking at a car each day and not driving it is a waste IMHO.
Every day you do not drive your corvette is one less day you get to drive your corvette.
But none the less its a great car to "DRIVE" and not look at.
Good Luck with the sale.

I would love to have this car. My favorite color.
I have always heard that it hurts the car for it to sit so many years and not be driven? The seals dry's up, the tires can get flat spots, the engine is probably dry as a bone with no coating on the cylinder walls now.
Still, I would take this car in a heart beat if I could afford it now. Dont trade it in. Take it to some corvette cruise ins (Car shows).
Good luck with the sale. Some one will be getting a beautiful car.

But in terms of price based on milage, its a diminishing return. The mileage factor is no different at 40 miles than at say... 4000 miles. They are still low mileage cars for a 6 year old car. The only exception is a vintage collector, museum car. In that case, the lower the better.
