Default Are you looking for a Z06? So am I. Wanna work together?

I'm not a dealer and not looking for money. I'm just a guy in little ol Milton WA who is searching for a white Z06 nationwide. I've been doing this for a few weeks, looking for one that meets my requirements.

Anyway I pretty much check various want ad sites daily and come across a lot of Z06's for sale. Feel free to PM me or post here and tell me what your looking for in a Z06, and if I run across something I'll send you a link.

Maybe if you run across a white one you're not interested in, you could send a link my way.
Don't really care where it's located as long as it's white, below 30k (below 20k even better) miles and south side of $50k. Closer to $40k is always better, but depending on what it is.....Ya never know.

Been the top bidder twice now at the end on the RF Z06 (good ol 288) on Ebay. I know they want $49K which I think is a bit much for the year....Yeah yeah I know it's a SE but there are more of those white ones, then all the other years combined.

I just found 7 on autotrader from 56k to 48k. The 48k one was a 2010 with 39,000 miles. There was a 10,000 mile 2012 for 54k. You are not going to find to many z06s in our area with a reasonable price per mileage let alone a white one. I looked for two years and finally found a good deal on what I wanted in Texas and shipped it up here. Don't settle keep looking and get what you want. I'll keep an eye out. Good luck

Im in about the same boat as you. I want something pretty specific. I've been looking around for a while now although i've gone back and fourth on what exactly I want I think i've finally got it narrowed down. Its been a few months and I still haven't found the right car. But the way I see it, the longer I'm looking, the more money I'm saving and the more options its opening up for me in terms of price range. Good luck with the search!

Totally how I'm looking at it too. In fact I said that I would wait a year and work on my other little project, while I had the extra garage space (after selling my other car). Now all I see is an empty spot to fill. Haha

There is a Ron Fellows Z06 sitting at Carmax in Fairfield,CA with $44K price tag on it. Not on the site but looked right at it today. Hell of a price for a RF and the car looked great. Was a transfer in so someone is orbiting it, but maybe worth a phone call.

To the original poster the above if it's a 2LZ+ is a no brainier for a 10,000 mile car. With all the changes you get in a 2012 and warranty there's no way I'd pay mid-high 40's for a 2007. The 2012 in white is far more rare then a RF car.

I called and two things came out of it. First being that they upped their price to $46k and when he gave me the description and said "black wheels" I asked him what number RF it was and while he went to look, I looked one up like that on Ebay that I recently saw, and it was the same car which was number #239 The dealer who was selling it before wanted $49K. It kind of worries me that the car has has 3 owners and only has 8ooo miles and in need of tires (from the pictures I saw on Ebay), and of course the dealer never knows anything.

Most likely I'll keep looking, but again thanks for keeping an eye out.

Yeah, that's funny and as I was trolling through Craigslist tonight guess what I found.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/ctd/4941480183.html

This is the car and Specialty Sales is a big consignment place for classics/modern muscle. The original owner must have just pulled it and sold it to Carmax. It's pretty distinctive because of the chrome center caps with the black wheels.

Here is what I use when looking for cars: CarGurus.com.
Did a quick search for C6 Z06s from '05 - '12
Found 4 white ones:

Steve- Thanks for the leads.

The first one was a new one to me, the second one isn't really a Z06, the vin says it came with an LS3, The 3 one, I'm just sad for, obviously the guy wanted a viper, and the 4th one is the same as the first, which is a bit out of the range I want to pay for a RF Z06. All of a sudden in the last 3 weeks the RF cars seem to have summer prices.

In case anyone is wondering, these are all the RF cars that I've found for sale in the last month - month and a half and are still for sale #239, #288, #112, #222, #385, #256, #295, #296, #328, #320
On #239 maybe I'm way off, and it's the black wheels with silver center caps (looks like it needs new tires too) but something just misses the mark with me as being "right", and tells me to stay away
But my main issue, is that most being over the $50k mark especially on the 07"s. BTW thanks Greg for the carfax info

Although the 1st one and the last one look the same and are in the same state, they are different VINs and RF #s.

As much as I want a white one, I just can't justify spending mid to high 40's on a stock 2007. Oddly enough I think that I just missed the mark. Right before I sold one of my cars (in order to make room for a Z06) there was a RF for sale with head work done and a few other goodies that looked just as good as all the others I've been seeing or better and the asking price was $43k. I seen lots of other colors either cheaper, newer, or with more done to them for under $45.
I'm not saying I'm out of the game, I just don't want the other members to get upset that my thread keeps going to the top because I'm not buying. I think that I may be looking too hard right now.
With that said, I'll still keep tabs for what other are looking for and try to help them out, feel free to send me PM's on what you're looking for. Thanks to all who helped
