Default FS: 2010 Corvette ZR1 - 22200 Miles - GMPP - SOLD!

This car is sold!
  • 2010 Corvette ZR1
  • Cyber Grey exterior
  • Black 3ZR interior
  • grey wheels
  • 22200 miles, mix of street and race track
  • VIN: 1G1YN2DT3A5800826
  • GMPP - 12/2017 or 56000 miles - $0.00 deductible
  • $65000 / negotiable

My 2010 Corvette ZR1 is up for sale. It was ordered from Wes Milby at Reliable Chevy in January of 2010, and delivered at the National Corvette Museum during March of that same year. In its nearly 5.5 year life, it's served multiple roles:
  • daily driver
  • errand runner
  • long distance cruiser
  • track terrorizer

The OEM front splitter took damage from road debris and was replaced with a Katech unit. After the replacement, that splitter came into contact with a speed bump that caused a few cracks on the bottom side of it. It's still perfectly functional; please don't expect me to deduct money off the price of the car because of it.

Modifications:
  • Caravaggio Daytona seats, steering wheel, shifter **** and boot, and parking brake boot. The seats are built from the OEM units that I shipped to John. They retain all of their OEM heat, lumbar, side bolster, tilt, etc adjustments. They lose their side airbags.
  • Sharkbar harness bar and lower belt attachments. The pictures show two camera mounting ***** on the harness bar; those are staying with me as I intend to use them in the next car. But the car is ready for 6-point harnesses.
  • Kenwood DNX9960 head unit with Garmin navigation. Adapters installed for interfacing with the GM/Bose amps and speakers, OnStar, and the door chime. Cables included if you want to add a back-up camera later.
  • Hood window replaced with body-colored vent. Clear window piece included in box if you want to put it back on.
  • LG Motorsports radiator and Katech intercooler heat exchanger, both installed with 60/40 water/DexCool and RedLine Water Wetter.
  • LG Motorsports camber kit - replaces lower control arm eccentric (cam) bolts with blocks so that alignment can't self-adjust. All camber adjustments are made with shims added or removed from upper control arm bolts. Extra shims included.

Extras Included:
  • Corvette Build Photo Album
  • Helm Service Manual set
  • All service write-ups and receipts

Hit me up via PM if you're interested in discussing this.

Love the seats! How is the condition of the brakes if you don't mind me asking?

I can't remember when I swapped the rear pads. I did the front pads sometime last summer and it hasn't seen any track time since. The rotors are OEM as mentioned; haven't weighed them.

Wow, that's how you put up a for sale ad!

Damn I'm not ready to buy, but if I were, I'd get this one.

Nice tasteful mods.

GLWS!

Thanks. I get a kick out of taking photos and doing video editing in my "spare" (hahahaha!) time.

Looks like you did all of the heavy lifting with the mods. How many track days, and are those PS2's?

I honestly don't remember how many track days. We're not talking even 100; much less than that. I've missed a whole year here and there, for instance.

Yes those are the PS2 runflats. They're new as of last year I think. And they have not seen any track time. They're purely used for street.

Whoa 100 track days; time to weigh those rotors that are most certainly shot.

Read more carefully. I said much less than 100. And no, the rotors aren't shot. They're fine. I know my brakes.

Jesus, I wasn't kidding. I thought for sure I had more time on the track with this thing. Heh. Here are the records from my video collection. The dates are part of the title, as should be evident:

Fifteen days. And I rarely ran all 4 sessions during each day.

You don't know me, but I just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful posts you've made over the years that I've run across in my searches.

What are you upgrading to?

Thanks for the kind words, and I'm happy to help as I can. I'll be getting a new Z07 when the pricing on them calms a bit more than it currently is. In the mean, I'll drive around my new HD Sierra Denali.

Thanks for that, Sanjay. FWIW, this guy is still available, and also posted on EBay.

Shameless bump. It's gone through 3 cycles on EBay with some interest, but no buyers. I'm not going to re-post it there. Also note that I'm not going to give the car away; if I'm forced to do that, I'll just take it on the chin when I trade it in next year, and consider that the cost of enjoying the car for another year.

If you're interested, hit me up via PM.

Hello is this ZR1 still for sale? Has the car been road raced in the past?
The car is tentatively sold (as the first post says). It's never been raced, but has spent a number of days on the track in HPDE events.
