2005 LMB S/C new built motor chicago $28,000
Location: 60647
Price:32,000 OBO price drop 30,000>>>28,000
Miles: 72,xxx
Since I moved downtown I have not been able to enjoy my corvette as much as I would like. I flew to NM and drove the car back. I don't want to sell since the car is a beast with the new set up, but there are many factors that it doesn't make sense keeping. If you live in Chicago you know; speed bumps will scratch your headers, pot holes everywhere, alleys are to small to drive down with glass on them, and you can't park a vette on the street so there goes your dinner plans. I included the add from the previous owner I bought the car from. Since then I spent another 10,000.00$ in the motor and RPS twin disc clutch a month ago. I will prob regret selling but I have a liter bike for speed needs also.I made slightly less power since the new motor has lower compression. Made 608.56 rwhp and 518.36rwtq. Speed inc did the motor work. I properly broke the clutch and motor in, the new set up has 700 miles on it.
Mods:
Z06 f & r sway bars with polyurethane bushings.
Aftermarket suede steering wheel
Hinson trans mounts
New hankook rear tires
Prev owner: This beautiful Corvette has been adult owned and garaged it's entire, meticulously maintained, life. The performance modifications were professionally installed and carefully chosen to add complimentary power while maintaining stock components and MPG - Average is 26.4 MPG. We've owned the car since September 2011 and have only put 5,000 miles on it since then, it's only had 2 other owners - clean Carfax. The car is not a daily driver and never has been - ALTHOUGH it could be a daily driver - I'd drive this car anywhere with confidence - it is just as reliable as a stock C6. This Corvette performs flawlessly and can be rated 9 out of 10 due to minor cosmetic blemishes.

Youve got an s2000? Ive got an 03, basically stock....considering adding or replacing it with a c6 z06. Whats your take?
Ive had my s2000 for 12 years now and it always puts a smile on my face. Just interested if not having a convertible will ruin it for me and obviously the z06 is a whole different league of power.

I've owned 3 s2k's, my 3rd one having 540whp turbo. The corvette is a totally different car. Things I like; more room and torque. It's a blast to drive on the highway. Things I miss from my s2k handling and all around fun driving the car.
I personally would go with a s2k with a kraftworks s/c or a ls7 swap if I get another s2k.
