I have decided to sell my wrecked 2006 Z06. It comes with everything I have for the car, minus the engine. Car has 21K miles on it. I will go thru everything and see what i have and update this thread tomorrow. Im not really sure what its worth so Im gonna start at $15K. If Im way off let me know.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but without the engine, since the air bags went off, and it has a lot body damage plus some frame damage, I would say that $15k is very high. But who knows, maybe someone would pay that.

really isn't much value if engine is gone, especially if whole front clip is gone and rear is gone.

My first impression is that without the engine, it would cost about $20-30k to get the vehicle back in original condition. And the vehicle would only be worth about $35k then since it was in a wreck and has a replacement engine. It could probably be done cheaper, but most likely the majority of the car would need to be repainted, the frame fixed, new panels for the front and rear, and more.

I agree with you guys, I though about it after I posted and thought the same thing. What do you guys think a fair price for it would be or would I be better off to just part it out? It does have a salvage title.

Since OP said to say something if the price is off:

Considering a C6Z with a brand new engine and no accidents can be had for $30k these days... I might say that this car pretty much belongs in the part-out lot.

Would cost at least $20k to get it fixed and an engine put in, at which point it would be a C6Z with extensive damage and repairs (even if not a salvage title); I'd be surprised if you could sell it for much more than the $20k it would cost to repair. Would be much more worthwhile to part out, or sell to a part-out shop, or sell to someone who wants to do something weird to it.
