A very nice car. It's not my color I'd pick for myself but nice indeed.

Not my first choice in color either, but the black graphics and wheels set it off pretty good. I do believe I could live with it.

Those graphics were a factory option weren't they?

That was a very good buy for the person who won that auction, very loaded car with pretty low miles.

Yes that was a factory dealer installed option.

I originally kept my search to within a 500mile radius, but now I've started looking everywhere.
I'm in no big hurry, so the right car will eventually be found.

Until than I'll keep my nose poking around here and learn as much as I can and admire all the knowledge and cars that are on constant display here.

It is still a bit early for the deals, I try to buy sometime after everyone is looking for winter storage.

November to March is the time you want to have your cash ready.

Watch ebay I bought 2 corvettes in the last 2 years, one was 100 miles away the other near 200.

Don't let mileage scare you away from a car you want. The engine and drivetrain in these cars are quite capable. The Corvette community just sees these cars as something to look at more so than drive more often than not which is why mileage is a big deal in this community. If its been well maintained it doesn't matter how many miles it has. My Z06 has 133k on it now and it runs like a champ without any issues. Up to about 123k miles the car belonged to an older guy that used it to drive from Tampa to Atlanta and back every other week. He took it to the dealer for everything and it was very well maintained and still is.

Something will come along.

A Corvette is a very well engineered and capable car.
The mileage wasn't too much of a worry to me......my questions on the matter was I just another way to get a little guidance for me as I dive into ownership of such awesome vehicles.
