This is a sales thread and the site's rules are pretty specific in prohibiting "interference" in such threads.

While interest has been expressed, no money has changed hands, so the car is still available.
If you have questions, and I can understand why an interested buyer would want to know more, take them to the OP via email as per his posted request. He has available a lengthy treatise on what has been done to the car as well as the current situation with it not running.

This is good to see. I honestly wish you the best of luck with the car G3carbon. Please let us know how it works out.
Clearly this is an amazing build, so if it can be revived without too much pain that would be awesome.

Thanks.
In all fairness to Dave, the current (and soon to be former) owner, it definitely needs work but aside from a small thing here or there he absolutely couldn't have know about, it seems like it's exactly as he advertised.
He's a really nice, and knowledgeable, guy and he's clearly done his very best to disclose every issue of which he's aware.
In all honesty, it was meeting Dave that gave me the confidence to take the plunge.
The car needs work and it's definitely a risk, but based on what we saw I'm willing to take a shot.
The car is going to be picked up some time early next week once my check clears Dave's account and it's going to Jay Healy over at Kraftworks for a tear down and to get the repair work started.
As an aside, Jay and the folks at Kraftworks are currently responsible for the current record for a stock bottom end ZL1 Camaro, having dipped in the 9.80's with it.

Once I officially take possession, I'll start a separate thread to keep everyone interested in the project up to date.

The car is sold and has been delivered to G3Carbon. I imagine he'll post up in the main forum, if he hasn't already.
To all of you who cast aspersions at me, your apology is accepted.

Honestly, I think he erred on the side of caution so the potential buyer never had an opportunity to claim they've been mislead.
Dave is definitely a stand up guy.
The car is at Kraftworks in Delray Beach, Florida getting sorted out. Once it's back up and running, I'll start a new thread.

The car was everything Dave said it was, to put it mildly.

I'm going to start a fresh thread in a few, but here's the big news:
2 year old gas isn't fun for anyone, so we drained the tank of what looked like lemonade (), replaced the varnished injectors with stockers and she fired up on the first hit!!!
Jay Healy over at Kraftworks is kicking *** and taking names with her and we expect to be driving it to work as soon as next week.
The heads have to come off, since it's got a head gasket problem, but after we send them out to have them checked (can't be too careful) we'll be back to the dyno with a smaller pulley., but I think we may change up the combo a bit, first.
As an aside, if anyone has an F1X, I've got a F1A I can trade.

Wow! This has to be a record. A non running, non Ls7, I'm not going to describe whats wrong, don't ask any questions z06 sold for more than what a mint condition non molested version with a fraction of the mileage (running) car would have sold for!
Just goes to show there's an *** for every seat! I didn't chime in earlier because I won't interfere with a for sale thread but I'm responding now because I want to keep track of how this craziness works out.
