The car has a brand new engine with about 600 miles on it. The engine, as well the rest of the car, has a 4 year, 48,000 mile warranty. All the parts are latest versions for the ls7, including the newer style pistons and connecting rods. I haven't done anything to the heads on the car. I don't want to void the warranty on the engine.

So this was a short block replacement utilizing your original heads? Many thanks!

Who installed the engine? Dealer? What were the circumstances regarding the "passing away" of the original factory engine?

Bob Stall Chevrolet in La Mesa installed the engine. The previous engine had the oil pump fail/break and seized the motor.

For that kind of car...a dealer will NEVER just replace the short block...lol...
GLWS...this is a great deal. 4 year piece of mind for a good price.
