2012 Corvette Grand Sport - 3LT
6 Speed Manual Transmission
~10,800 miles<br/>
New Michelin Super Sport Tires
Needs nothing, $41,500

More pics:http://hermitagewood.com/c6/slideshow/

General Info
I am regretably parting with my 2012 Grand Sport Corvette coupe only because and live so near work that I rarely
drive it, and in part because I have too many cars. The car has been babied, kept in my heated/cooled garage, and
typically driven only in good weather. Condition wise, this is like a 1 year old car, with new Michelin Super
Sport tires fitted less than 100 miles ago.

Performance
This car is an incredible performer, 436 horsepower, 6 piston front brakes, race-bred dry sump oiling system, and the
best handling Z51 suspension parts GM had. But it is also loaded with comfort and convenience features, navigation,
blue-tooth for your phone, heated memory seats, heads up display (HUD), power tilt/tele steering wheel, integrated
garage door opener, USB/MP3 music, XM satellite radio, and the list goes on.

Extras
I have personalized the car with a few custom features that I liked, but the original parts are included should
the new owner prefer them.
  • LED Tail Lights (originals included)
  • "Grand Sport" Embroidered cargo cover
  • Cargo Divider
  • lloyd's mats (originals included)
  • Skip shift eliminator (eliminates forced 1-4 shift for economy)
  • paint matched rear spoiler (original included)
  • white shift ball (original include)
  • spare new front splitter (these get scraped up eventually)
  • jack pads (prevents damage on lifting)

Misc.
According to corvetteblogger.com site, GM made only 220 Inferno Orange GS coupes in 2012. Approximately 32% of the GS coupes were
manual transmission cars, so there were perhaps only 70 or so Inferno Orange 6-speed coupes built.

Nice car. I'm looking for a Z06 but I do love IOM.

I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Thanks, I agree the orange is stunning, especially in the sunlight. Good luck with you search. There is an orange Z06 a bit further down the list.

Thanks for the kind words, Mr. Peabody. I pretty much went looking for *this* car, an Inferno Orange, 6 speed, dry sump, dual-mode exhaust GS, and so I figured there would be at least a few people here that are as hung up on the details as I am.

Thanks, Richard. On the rare occasions when I sell a car, I try to make my ad as complete as possible. Ironically, when I posted almost the same info on craigslist, the system seemed to automatically delete it as some sort of violation, until I removed all the assembly codes. Weird.

A few people have asked for more/better pics. They can be found here:

I have one of the "70 or so" iom grand sports. Like you said it's a great color esp in the sunlight. When searching for mine, I was specifically looking for iom and they are few and far between. Waited months for the right one to pop up. Whoever is looking for this color jump on it immediately because they do not pop up often.

Great car. If this was next year come bonus time, we'd be having a discussion. Good luck with sale, and congrats to whoever the new owner will be.

Thanks Evander, I wish the timing was right too, but not for the reason you might expect. I get attached to my cars, and don't like to see one go downhill if I have to part with it. I have the car advertised locally, but I'd really like to see it go to an enthusiast on this forum. I guess I just feel if you're here reading, learning, and sharing, then you are someone who takes care of your car.
