New headlight lens, 350 pair

Hud bezel, $20, takes 5 mins to replace

Looks like a great deal with some simple cosmetic fixes to get looking like a 2013.

Hope this helps

Didn't realize that hud bezel was available separately from the dashboard. I'll look into that.

I don't see lenses cheaper than 400+shipping. And I have a strong feeling that changing lenses will only make me $400 poorer without attracting a single prospective buyer. I did all repairs I could think of, replaced the air dam at least twice, replaced front left fender liner, paid $150 for full exterior detail a few months ago, none of it seemed to make much difference. The only things remaining are the lenses and some sort of odd damage to front bumper (see white dots in pic#4) for which I got quoted $800.

I have a guy who seems to want to buy it for 16.5 but he didn't see it in person and he wants me to drive to him (5 hours one way) to do the papers. Most offers are bordering on ridiculous. Last three offers were $10k, $13k and a trade for a 2000 C5 with 130k mi + some cash.

If it does not move for 16.5 as is, it's going to Carmax next week and I'll let them worry about lenses and bezels.

P.S. I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "simple cosmetic fix" https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...t-z06-etc.html
Step #2
Preheat your oven to 350... as soon as it starts beeping Put the headlight assembly in there, close the oven door and then turn off the oven as soon as you close the oven door. Set up your timer for 20 minutes and wait

OP Stick to your price, will sell sooner or later for your asking price, those 10 and 13k offers are ridiculous, if I hadn't bought my 05 a couple months ago I would be all over this one. GLWS

If nothing else, new lenses improve the quality of lowballs I'm getting. Got offers of 14k and 15k in the last two days.

IMHO, 3LT with F55/mag ride, great color, 6 speed, this car will fetch asking price or very close to it.

There are not many C6's out there for sub $18k.

The price on your car is way too low IMO. I see c5s going for that price. You might want to repost starting at a higher price. Good luck with the sale!
