Brand new oem motor was just installed 800 miles ago (comes with paper work from GM)
Reason for new motor is I put a blower kit on it and the tuner leaned it out so therefore I fried a piston,

Alky Meth injection kit
AEM airfuel/boost failsafe gauge

Out of curiosity how much power and boost was the original engine at before it blew? I have an LS3 coupe I'm thinking about getting upgrades for but don't want to put the cast pistons under too much stress

Melting Slicks
per the original post it was the tuned that caused his failure not the power level... it will all be in the tune and if you want to be safe get meth injection and get it tuned by an experienced tuner and you wont have an issue... the LS3 is a pretty stout motor
