Not from what I've read, including the September issue of Corvette Magazine in the article entitled, "Buying Right: C6" (page 71) written by Barry Kluczyk. Under the heading Engine and Drivetrain, it states, and I quote: "As for the infamous "dropped valve" issue with certain '08-'11 LS7 engines, we're pleased to report that the problem is rare and typically only occurs in cars that are used for drag or road-course racing."
My Corvette Tech that I've been going to for the last 17 years also confirms this.
