Default 2005 Machine Silver Z51 m6 interior package 45k miles $22000

This is a 1 owner, low mileage car. I ordered the car from Talty Chevrolet in Morris, IL. Since 2011, the car and I now live in Sparks, NV.

Adult owned and driven it's entire life, always garaged, never driven in snow and never abused or involved in an accident.

The car is fully optioned and everything runs and works as when purchased. The only modification made was the installation of a kit that bypasses the 'Computer Aided Gear Selection' feature, which forced the driver to shift from 1st to 4th gear if certain driving conditions were not met. This is a small wiring harness kit that can be as easy to remove as it was to install.

Note - The subscriptions have long expired for the XM Radio and the OnStar phone, but they worked perfectly until that time.
The Z51 Performance package includes Performance Tuned: Larger Cross Drilled Brake rotors, Stabilizer Bars, Springs, Shocks and Gear Ratios.

The Preferred Equipment group option includes the Heads-Up display, Homelink transmitter, Auto Dimming ISRV and drivers side OSRV mirrors, Bose 7 speaker system with AM/FM/CD stereo, Updated the original Navigation DVD with a GM p/n 20980238, Version 7.00 in 2010, 2 driver seat memory positions.

Replaced the worn out OEM Goodyear F1's with Firestone's Firehawk Wide Oval Run Flat tires from Tire Rack in August 2007 with 21,560 miles on the car. The Firestone's are wearing evenly and have no less than 5/32" tread remaining.

Replaced battery with a Diehard Gold in 2011.

Included with the car is the original window sticker, misc. promotional flyers, soft cloth indoor full car cover, Colgan custom black auto bra, plus some additional odds 'n ends thrown in.

Bump!
Side note on my car's listing - I put the car on eBay last week, with a reserve, and had a local car dealer PM me after the auction ended. I called him and he asked if I knew why my car didn't sell. I said no, and he said because the front bumper has been repainted based on a picture I had in the listing??? I politely told him that was not true, but he stuck with his theory, basically calling me a liar! The only paint job this car has seen was the replacement removable hardtop after a recall for a potential problem with a poor glue job required it to be replaced. Just in case anyone saw my listing.

I had a similar experience. Went to look at a 2006 C6 convertible at a dealer. At that time I owned a 2001 Z51 Navy Blue convertible that had 42,000 miles. The owner of the dealership came out and looked at my car while I was talking to the salesman. He came up to me and said that the right side of my car had been repainted. I told him the car had never been in an accident and had never been repainted. I know what he was trying to do. In case I wanted to buy a car from that dealership and was going to trade mine in, he wanted to lower the price he would give me for my car because it was repainted. The 2006 was beautiful and in great shape but I would never give that dealership my business because of that jackass owner. 6 months later found a fully loaded 2007 velocity yellow convertible at a different dealer. That dealer was honest and I got a great deal on the 2007 and a very fair price for my 2001.

Bump! Still available. I'm wondering if it's something besides the price?

IMHO, if your car didn't sell as quickly as expected it is ALWAYS the price!

Don't believe me? List it for $1,000.... It will sell within minutes. List it for $50,000.... It will never sell..... It's always what the BUYER thinks is fair, not the seller. This is something sellers on this forum FAIL to realize and their cars are on here for MONTHS and never sell and their ads fall by the wayside. Way too many cars on here are overpriced. I am NOT saying yours is.

GLWS

I agree. I don't know how many C5's and C6's I see for sale on this forum and places like Autotrader that are for sale by owner that are over priced. The prices are either higher than NADA retail or the same. I come back many months later and the cars are still for sale. I wonder if these owners really want to sell their car or think they are going to make a killing on the price. I guess there is always an unsuspecting buyer out there that doesn't do their homework and over pays.

Based on nationwide market data, I show your Corvette to be a very fair deal at list price. Best of luck with your sale!

Thanks Paul. I did some fairly extensive research prior to posting my car here, and on eBay, and found the listing price to be toward the low end of the range very similar cars sold for. The information you provided also gives me some additional confidence that my car is not over priced.
One other data point I'd like to add, is that I had the local CarMax lot appraise my car a couple weeks ago. They offered to buy it for $20,500.

Car is on eBay with the auction ending at 5 pm PDT today. Current bid is $19,100. Search for my user name 'georgeorville' to watch.....or bid! Reserve is $21,999.

New batch of photos taken by my son with his professional grade digital cam. I hope you like them. The reserve has been lowered to $20,000.

I wonder if 9 year-old tires are hurting you...
