WTB: Built C6z/GS with powerglide and boost
Looking for a built and boosted C6z or C6 with a powerglide. If it doesnt have a glide i would still be open to the deal so i can just swap one in. Prefer twin turbo or single turbo setup. Must still retain A/C !!!!!!
Let me know what you have. Will travel. I am located in Texas!!!

Burning Brakes
While this may not be a Corvette..... it does kick ***.
'93 Mazda RX-7: 2900lbs wet, LS9 block, K1 crank, Compstar rods, MAST LS3 heads, LS3 intake, 88mm T4 turbo (1400hp rating), Stainless works 1 3/4" headers, 2.25" s/s custom crossover, 3.5" downpipe, dual Tial 38mm wastegates, TreadStone intercooler, ID1600 injectors, dual Walbro 450's, Mustang 8.8" solid rear with Wavetrac LSD and 3.31 gears. GZ Motorsports vacuum pump, power steering, modified stock LS3 fuel rail with add'l crossover and rear 1/2" feed to look stock. Dual thick core radiator up front with Spal 12" fans plus a smaller rear mount radiator by the rear bumper with no fans in it. No cooling issues whatsoever. In 90* weather making a 1/2 mile pass it starts out in the low 180* coolant temp range and after a pass goes up to 195-200*.... by the time you get back to the pits its back down to low 180*. The cooling system really shines on this car making it a seriously streetable setup and never a worry about overheating.
Runs Holley Dominator EFI sytem plus with the T56 Magnum it simply drives great running a baby cam with mellow idle. Has a RaceShop chromoly roll bar with 6pt belt. Total sleeper with the e-cutout closed thru a super quiet 3" single exhaust. Open cutout terminates out the 3.5" downpipe that runs and exits just before the rear axle.
I also have a built stock case PG with billet internals, billet convertor, Tbrake, billet yoke 3.5" alum driveshaft, custom trans mount that I installed and after 3-4 miles removed it because I hated how it drove.
Our friend runs the exact same PG and convertor in his 2900lb LSx RX-7 and it has run low 8's for 3 years without issues.
Best of 9.35@163mph 2nd time out on T56 Magnum with lots left in it. That was on M/T ET Street DR 275/50/15 tires, 235/40/18 fronts, zero boost launch letting out the clutch slowly at 3000rpm and ramping in the boost by gear. Makes 1060rwhp/1070rwtq on 14psi and e85.
same pass different angle
Won Shift Sector RWD class 1/2 mile shootout 3 years in a row (every event) with major traction issues running the T56 Magnum. You could remove 150lbs from the car if you wanted to with very little effort. Runs consistent mid 190's it the 1/2 mile on a horrible airport runway surface surrounded by dirt fields and no traction control aside from boost by gear. Easily blows the tires off shifting into 5th gear at 20psi+ boost. In 4th you can finally pour in some good power and in 5th it's ***** the walls. It moves out in the top gears.
Fresh engine with zero miles (being installed after it gets out of the machine shop)
new zero mile T56 Magnum
1000 miles on the 8.8" solid rear conversion, fuel system, 1200hp version RXT clutch
Does 180mph in 4th gear
Should do 170mph+ on kill in the 1/4. It did 163mph with GTS76 turbo (1250hp rating) maxed out.
Has Davis Technologies traction control that needs to be dialed in. Keeps losing signal when we tried to set it up.
Easy 8 second car with decent launch running a T56 Magnum. Could go 7's with the powerglide and well prepped track is my guess. Our friend has a similar RX-7 with same turbo, same style and same builder of this built PG, 8.8" solid rear as well and it runs consistent 8.30's with a 1.4x 60'.
Has 13" brakes that stop the car from 200mph with no parachute pass after pass. Super stable at 200mph+
This car pretty much walks anything making 1500hp or less and rear wheel drive. The frontal area is tiny and the weight is low.
The engine was together for over 2 years and made easily 200 passes in the 1/4 and mostly 1/2 mile/freeway environment before I snapped the stock LS1 crank inside after showing off doing a 1-4th gear burnout and finally hooking up... then the crank snapped. Needed 2 rods and a new crank/rings/bearings. Everything else checked out fine. Never lost a head gasket or weeped any coolant in that time. The LS9 block allows for 120 ft/lbs of torque on the heads. MAST heads are thick deck quality units.
The vacuum pump could be moved to the driver side and a/c installed in it's place.
$45K obo
I have CF doors (-50lbs), CF rear hatch with lexan window (-35lbs), lithium battery (-25lbs), race seat (-15lbs) for additional cost.
Remove passenger seat (-35lbs), tar sound deadening under the carpet (-15lbs), and still look pretty much stock puts it at 2725lbs
