Default New forged 427ci with Ecs2200 blower kit build (pics added)

We started just 2 weeks ago to only just forge the 427ci (9.6:1) comp. because in the back of my mind I knew things would not last very long with the stock bottom and with all the horror stories I did not want to chance damaging my block. Ok, now on to the good stuff. Funny thing it that we went just a little further as this always happens it seems...

My new build consist of the following:

HKE ls7 block 427ci forged (9.6:1)
callies forge crank, compstar rods, diamond coated pistons -23cc
ragin racin blower cam
Swapped the sl1500 for the sl2200
twin intank 255 walbro setup with 80 lb inj.
All arp hardware and head studs/main studs.
Ls7 heads ported and cleaned with added alloy valves on exhaust side.
Ecs 8 rib setup with 8" IW using the 3" blower pulley
Snow Perf. Meth kit (boost Activated)
SPEC Supertwin PT trim

I'm doing the car here local because it's easier for me to check things out and help out when needed.

I'm getting excited now since it will be back in the car this weekend and running

Thanks goes out to Mike @ ECS for expediting the blower shipping
Eric @ HKE for building a Badass 427ci and in 2weeks
and Chris my installer.
Marty at scoggins
and all the rest that help in this quick efforts!!'

we should have numbers by Tuesday of this week!!!

I was told by Mike that the 2200 with the 3" blower pulley will net me 16-17 #s of boost

What numbers do you guys think it will make?

We will know very soon!!!!

hmmmm.... 16-17psi? I'm guessing you should be in the HIGH 700's if not mid 800's.

Good luck!

There's a local car here with a conservative tune that made 812rwhp with a similiar build to yours. It was equipped with the following:

427ci LS7
LS7 heads (not ported, but cleaned up)
23x/24x cam
2" headers with cats
IW 8" balancer 3" blower pulley
Novi 2000
15 lbs of boost

I think you'll easily make over 850rwhp with your set up and probably closer to 900rwhp! Good luck with everything and looking forward to seeing your results!

I have a similar setup to yours, 9.7 pistons, YSI SC, RR Stalker cam, 50/50 water meth injection and 13 psi of boost. I'm doing 750 whp so I suspect you will be near 850 with 17 psi.

Awesome! Cant wait to see what it makes too. I say 850 ish rwhp atleast. Why not crank it up though and use what you got and get 900 +?

How come you are running 13psi of boost if you have your motor forged and meth? With more boost you can be at 850-900 hp.

I can't keep the wheels from spinning with what I have. What am I going to do with more - brag about it? Not my style.
