Great trip up to ECS
Just got back from a trip to Cream Ridge. Dropped the car off Monday at 8am. Picked up their loaner car (not the best trade, but it worked) and drove the wife to Atlantic City for the night. Came back Tuesday around 3 pm to watch Doug tune it. Anyways I had them install their sc600 kit and alky kit. My car was stock other than LS7 exhaust manifolds and cats, Doug got it to 680 rwhp and 625 ftlbs with a relatively conservative tune. Drove home over 300 miles, it is almost stock like in traffic but put the hammer down at any speed and watch out.
Can not say enough about the customer service at ECS, everyone I talked to was polite and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to modify their corvette. Tim

Mines going back into ECS to add headers & some extra meth so I can get it up to 700rwhp. Now it's 615 & it's an animal. With that kind of power you'll need to spend quite a bit more money to get it to the road!
I just Invested in 18/12" z06 replica wheels & m/t345-35-18's (NOT 19's) & a rear widebooty & I'm finally hookin' up 2nd gear 100%! Without it I was spinning my 305 toyo r888 like there was no tomorrow!
ECS ROCKS!!

I believe it was 11lbs at 6500 rpm. I was really expecting only around 625hp. I asked Doug if it was safe and he assured me it was. The timing was on the low side and a/f ratio was 10.9:1. He though we could pull another 45-50 hp if we wanted to push it but I was really happy there. All that being said, I will normally keep it to 6000 rpm when getting on it. It made around 650hp at 6000rpm. With traction control off it will blister the tire at well over legal interstate speeds. Next thing will be a clutch and tires/wheels. Tim

hmmmm....so ECS assured you that 600+ would be okay w/ a stock shortblock LS3 (w/ meth of course.) ???
Now I REALLY gotta get a meth kit...and SOON!

ECS Customer Service
The customer service at ECS is the best. I have the loaner car now(2nd time around) and it runs great. I will take it back when I pick up my Vette. Kudos to Doug, Chris and the rest of the staff.

I hope you got out of the rain to enjoy it a little today. Should be an animal.
I'll post up your dyno sheet in the morning. I have a couple I've been meaning to post up....
Earl, dont be getting attached to the Solara. Chris still uses it to pick up the babes.
