Default Supercharged Grand Sport

Mr Barger had his eye on a 2010 Grand Sport at his local dealer. So he did what any good son would do, he gave his 2008 yellow C6 with an MTI Racing Stage 1 Engine upgrade to his dad. That's awesome. Talk about keeping it in the family. He had his Grand Sport a whopping 2 months before the long tube headers and Magnacharger TVS2300 supercharger were on the car.

The 2010 Grand Sport with the LS3 engine makes approximately 350rwhp and begs to be supercharged. The Magnacharger TVS2300 is the obvious choice. Quote from Mr Barger "When I am driving the car around town you would never know the supercharger is there until I mash the gas, I just got 28 mpg on a 200 mile road trip".This speaks volumes about the efficiency of the Magnachargers.

With the addition of the Magnacharger, header system, and boost upgrade with MTI tuning the Grand Sport now pumps out 551rwhp. Did I mention this is an automatic transmission Grand Sport?

Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers
Boost Upgrade
Larger Fuel Injectors
MTI Tuning
HiTech-MTI Extractor Hood

With the upgrades listed above Mr Bargers Grand Sport is an awesome street machine.

HiTech/MTI Racing Carbon Fiber Extractor hood. These hoods look awesome with the extractor vents clear coated and the rest of the hood painted body color.

We also installed a 2 guage piller with Auto Meter boost and air fuel ratio guages to monitor the engine.

I'm guessing the heat exchanger for the intercooler.

To the OP, do you guys have any videos of it. You just gotta love the while of a TVS.

Car drives great, really am suprised how smooth it is just riding around because you really wouldn't know the supercharger is on there. But when you hit the go pedal you know it hah. I have a good friend at my local dealer I buy all my cars from so I went the MTI route since I had worked with them before on the 2008 and that car has been flawless in operation.

The cost on this set up was around 17,500 but I had a few upgrades done from the base kit. These superchargers are great you can really boost them up there and make crazy power but I was wanting something fast but not something that would detonate my car being that its an auto. All smiles so far!
