Eric Linder's AWESOME 2009 C6 A6
E-FORCE ATTACK PACKAGE

We first met Eric a few years back when he came to us with his Late

LSx GTO. We did a few things like intake, exhaust, tune, shifter, etc.

He loved the car and what we did for him... He went to all the

shows, polished and waxed, and really enjoyed the car....

And then, he disappeared.... Not sure why... No more Eric.

Quite some time passed and one day this shiny black 2009 C6 A6 pulls

in the driveway...

ERIC'S BACK!

This guy was cool! Friendly, polite, appreciative, and this guy even

brings home-made sandwiches almost every time he comes. A real

pleasure to have around.

Eric was bitten by the bug with his GTO and now that he had the Vette,

he wanted to get started....Right away...

First off... VARARAM, STAT, and CoW A6 TUNE!

After the VARARAM, STAT, and CoW A6 ATTACK TUNE...

Came the BORLAS! And the PFADT SWAY BARS!

So, How do you make BORLAS SOUND BETTER??!?!?!

You add AMERICAN RACING HEADERS with High Flow Cats!!!!!

ARTWORK!

Now you say... "WHAT AN AWESOME CAR THAT MUST BE!"

Can we make it BETTER, STRONGER....FASTER????

YES!

The CORVETTES of WESTCHESTER
3.42 A6 ATTACK PACKAGE REAR END!

Now, you gotta be sayin'... "Eric's Got a pretty damn COOL (and FAST)

C6 Automatic Corvette."

Eric drove the AWESOME ATTACK PACKAGE C6 for a month or so when

he stopped by the shop one day. That day, we were in the middle of

installing our very first EDELBROCK E-FORCE SUPERCHARGER.

Eric was wide eyed and seemed to be in a trance...

"Chuck!" he says.... "Come here!"...... "I want that....Here's my Credit Card!"

I replied.... "Eric, Are you sure??? Isn't your car FAST ENOUGH ALREADY???"

He responds.... " Here, TAKE IT.... Here's my card... I want that...!!!"

And SO, Our story continues....

One 599 HP EDELBROCK E-FORCE kit COMING RIGHT UP!

DOCTOR, PLEASE PREP THE PATIENT FOR SURGERY.

Cover the fenders with plastic please...

Blue Painter's tape and clear plastic...PROTECT THE PAINT!

It all starts HERE. READ THE DIRECTIONS.

Here's some of the parts out of the Edelbrock Crate.

The process BEGINS.

REMOVE THE FRONT BUMPER.

REMOVE THE VARARAM and install the NEW VALLEY PLATE,

TENSIONER ASSEMBLY and related.

Drill the crank and PIN it so the pulley does not rotate on the crank.

Install the INTERCOOLER, PUMP, and HOSES.

The E-FORCE is heavy and takes 2 or 3 guys to safely put in place.

SO, while we're in the middle of this amazing build,

Eric decides to CUSTOMIZE and PERSONALIZE his E-FORCE...

Eric My friend.... Only for you.... The time I spent.... Sheesh...

Here we go....Custom Valve Covers and Coil Re-Location Drama!

Dr.Chuck! You're needed in the operating room again!

Modify the wiring harness to make it work.

TOTALLY CUSTOM - ONE OFF MODIFIED COIL RELOCATION KIT...PHEW!

IMMACULATE INTERIOR A-LA ERIC... And the CoW CUSTOM GAUGE PACKAGE.

And here's the finished product....POLISHED and READY to TAKE FIRST PLACE!

And the Proud PAPA with his BABY...

BEST IN SHOW EVERY TIME... FAST AS HELL... IMMACULATE....

And TOTALLY RELIABLE for long trips to visit his son...

Eric's Beautiful 2009 C6 A6 w/3.42s and E-FORCE 599 kit makes about

545 WHP on 93 OCTANE.

Other goodies include Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's all around

and LOTS of WAX and POLISH!

And a special THANK YOU to Eric for allowing us to use his

amazing Vehicle to test the 2009 CORVETTE Automatic Transmission

Version of the Super Popular CoW BOOSTER!

Eric My Friend,

You're a special guy and always a pleasure to have around...

Thanks for all your support, help around the shop, and most especially

all those days you came packin' a GREAT LUNCH for me and the guys!

Thank you VERY MUCH!

Chuck CoW

Personally I happen to meet with the 70 year young gentleman who just had the edelbrock professionally installed by Chuck from Corvettes of westchester a few months back......and i had the opportunity to spend time with Eric who is not on the forum..

He was such a nice gentleman who just wanted a more power than the stock 2009 corvette he owned had..

he had the headers...the billy boat exhaust. he had the 3.42 gears for his A6...

what a stunning installation. Really looked so OEM like. The owner Eric claimed his main interest was in more speed..(545rwhp) 680 flywheel..I think with the 20 percent loss on automatics) but even more important was utter reliability and OEM like maintaince..

The owner of the shop was not there as we went for a ride in this beautiful and mint 2009 Z51 black coupe and Eric was gushing over how happy he was with the edelbrock kit and of course the OEM like reliability and maintaince aspect.....

As I'm 52..and this gentleman was unbelievably 70...(which he didn't look) the edelbrock was more about adding enjoyment to the vehicle without loosing the OEM like reliablity..

Obviously with around 680hp (if I calculated the automatic transmission power loss correctly at 20 percent) this car was an absolute rocketship and best of all was how seamless the power delivery was. It was really impressive..

You would never have known it was so fast...until you went for a drive and then all I can say is HOLLY SH T!!!

it really came across to me as a vehicle that had the ability to take the roof off the car in the summer months......have an automatic transmission and be used as a daily driver..(which is my utmost concern) and at the same time...had what I imagine is equal acceleration and OEM like reliability as the almighty ZR1 from the factory.

Your right this vehicle and this installation your team did was truly something to be proud of.

Eric's enjoyment and pleasure that he derives from this vehicle was clearly apparent as well it should be.

Very well done.

Default Vararam Snake Charmer Shroud Cover

Looking to get a Vararam Snake Charmer CAI System, with that I have been looking all over the Internet searching for a shroud cover, and this is the only one I can find, although no listing for where you bought it. This is the only alternative to not getting LG MotorSports's Super RAM CAI, which is the perfect set-up to my 2007 Z06 / Borowski by Plazmaman LS7 Low Profile Aluminum Intake Manifold https://www.racingjunk.com/Intake-Ma...anifold.html#1, which will require a CAI to keep this style manifold cool as possible. I hope you still have the manufacturer or fabricator that provided this for your Z06.

Default I don't think they have been making them for a long time now.

I don't think they have been making them for a long time now.

You could easily make one out of some counter top material using a cardboard template.
