Default Which Turbo Kit for LS2 C6

I would like to install a TT kit on my C6, and would like some feedback from this forum.

I see TTiX, APS, UPP, etc. Are there others. What are the pros / cons for using any of these systems?

I currently have another vette that has a fully built motor with an F1R (~30 psi). I really don't want all the mods on the current project that I did to the last, that is why I am really looking for a complete TT kit. Basically install the kit and really don't want to go much past installation of the kit.

Thanks in advance for any feedback provided.

heard good things about the TTiX. seems like a lot of people are having good luck with it. I have a UPP kit but If I had to do it all again I would do the TTiX with the upgraded downpips and turbos. not knocking UPP's kit, but you get what you pay for!

I will let the people who really know about all the different turbo kits talk about pros/cons. I dont really know much.

for 6k you can get a UPP kit with a free fuel system. I'd recommend you pay them to install it thought.

So who is the resident dealer for TTiX? I likewise thought the UPP kit looked like it was considerably less than what I have seen included in other kits.

Thanks for the feedback.

not sure really. but I see you are in Houston. I would def contact Dallas Performance and ask them for their opinion. they are dealers for APS and have the last 3-5 APS kits I believe (as you know the discontinued making those kits for the vettes) plus they build the sickest vettes

TTIX all day long. Feel free to give me a call if you need help with a kit. We have at least 2-3 TTIX cars in the shop at all times.

TTiX is very mature. For BIG HP, you may want to upgrade downpipe. The Exhaust manifold design is very nice and good quality. The Turbos are close to the engine for maximum energy.

I wouldn't rule out IPSMotorsports.net they have kits for the C6 as well. I took my IPS twin kit to 8.98 before I switched to their single kit.

If I didn't have TTiX already, I would have IPS custom TT kit.

atomic, IS IPS's twin kit based of the APS stuff? There seem to be a few shops now pushing the APS stuff (obviously with mods) to well over 1200bhp on race.

IPS's kits are not based on the APS Kits IMO. They use vband Tial turbos and quality US parts.

I wonder when their commercial kit would be out. Months ago, Jeff said they're working on a kit similar to the Camaro one.

Found the Flickr info on the ZR1 version... kit is basically the same but with air filters... this customer asked for no air filters IIRC.

I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure this kit is being installed on a C6Z at the shop right now. If you want one, give them a call.

Thanks atomic. Bl00dy hell that looks clean! Dose anyone have any pics of the manifolds used? They look to be using TIAL V-band housings and mount the turbos much higher than the APS stuff (more at TTI hight).

Chris.
