Siphoning off warm intercooler coolant at the track, adding ice and water wetter has helped drop my IAT's from 147* to 127 - 133* at the starting line with ambient at 91* (DA of 9200). I have my intercooler pump on a switch which I use to run the pump when the car is not running. I add about a gallon of ice, run the pump with the motor off and the E-Force cools down quite nicely.
I basically did the same thing a few weeks back, but mine did not respond as well as yours did. I'm just finishing up on installing a small nitrous shot just 50 HP to overcome the heat. It's going to be early October before I get a chance to run again and I'll post back here and let y'all know how it works out.

Default Had mine almost 3 years now

Enjoyed mine quite a bit since it is my daily driver. Unfortunately I have fought various issues (transmission, my poor tuning skills, high IAT's, lack of time) and not gotten that 10 second time slip I want. When the weather breaks I hope to have time to sort it out and make a few trips to the track in search of my goal. I have a meth kit and a smaller pulley on the shelf that I have shamefully never installed.

Probably will remove it in the spring and start putting the car back to close to stock to sell in order to get a C7.

im in the process of installing one on my LS7 (while ding a head swap).

Is there any reason why not moving the coolant tank to the back of the car in one of the cubby holes?

I've had a LS2 600 HP kit since 8/2011. It's worked pretty well. Now I'm running a 10% over drive with a 3.25" pulley. During the initial install I did heads, cam, lifters and pushrods. Added a 10% overdrive when my balancer developed the wobble. I added long tubes with cats and 80 LB injectors as well.

My E-Force has a SN of 460 and that's the replacement to my original. I got in on this very early. I love the unit. No problems ( 'cept the damn dieseling). I installed it in July of 2011. I have 53K miles on the car.

I purchased a 2010 GS last Oct. that had the Hennessey 650 HPE pkg. It came with an Edelbrock SC and I have had 0 issues with it. Just came back from a trip to Ohio and put about 2500 miles on the car. Car has ~12500 miles on it.
I love this set up!

Default Fits my needs

Put on a 554 on a garage queen 05, M6, Z51, 3LT I found October 2013 last winter...Edelbrock E-force SC 554....492/465, ATI Super Dampers (cause it was open) 160 Stat, Elite Engineering Catch Can, Borla S Type II...baseline was 346/353.

Goes back in storage and the winter project this year is adding headers and X pipe to the Borla's. My tuner says I'll pick up 50-60 rwhp with a retune and one small pulley than the 3.7 it came with.

Don't race it and with this project I'll be done spending $ to make it faster and just enjoy it.

Previous post:
Well I just completed my first road trip for Fathers Day, six days, 1951 miles to NC from WI...golfed my way down and then for four days with my son...may be my best Fathers Day ever!

These are the things that stood out:

Even with the Edelbrock SC installed this past winter and now 492/465 when I step on it:

* First tank with Ethanol all interstate 29.6 MPG
* Second tank no Ethanol all interstate 32.4 MPG
* The next two same...32+ MPG
* 13 hour drive straight home
* Borla S Type II are just enough...no drone on interstate...but it ain't no company car cruising down the road.

I literally could have driven the 900 or so miles on two tanks...ridiculous! AC was on all the time and saw no effect on the mpg.

2000 rpm @ 80 mph....sick!

about 2 years of playing with my 06 with an A6. started with the 550 kit install headers and hi flow cats canned tune hp442 at rear wheels. got a custom tune got smoother responds. downed the pulley from 3.75 to 3.5 upped injectors to 80 lbs and a Z06 fuel pmp. got a solid 501 rwhp and 500 ftlbs torque on a 90* day with another tune and dyno. lays solid 122 mph plus in the 1/4 mile in the low 11's hi 10's. worst part is I cant keep the tires hooked. it will even break'm lose at 60 mph when it downshifts from 6th to 4th when passing. want fun and stealth this is it.

Just got done installing my vision, this has been in the works for a while now, probably almost since I bought the car back in 2013, she's come a long way and is such an amazing ride,

Here's what I've put into building the motor so far:
Ls3 heads brand new with the NA+ filled valves, unmilled so my compression should be around 10.5,
LG long tube headers with high-flow cats and borla stinger style axle back,
160' stat,
3.5 pulley, waiting on z06 pump to come in, possibly considering a BAP from KB for now so I can get it tuned by a pro like doug at ECS,

When I did the grand sport body kit I changed the stock good for more underwood clearance for the bigger cover, what do you guys think? I love the way it looks and unfortunately do to the stock fuel pump I haven't been able to romp on it other than moving it back and forth!

Top down beauty shot!

Swapped the plain black covers for the more appealing, in my eyes, Camaro style covers to go with the other red accents I have on the vette

Not the lightest part to be installed by one person, but I got it done and without scratching or breaking anything!

Biggest pain in the @$$ of the whole install!

Ls3 heads installed!

Before the install: fast 102, ported tb, 160' stat, lg long tube headers with high flow cats, axle back exhaust

I have the E force kit 599 version, car is an absolute blast to drive. One thing that I did to help with the flow of air is cut the radiator shroud underneath the intake to get direct air from the bottom instead of the hot air circling the engine bay. You should look into it..

Thanks! No I wish they did, had to trim/shave my aftermarket hood some to get them to allow the hood to close fully, once it's touched up in that area it will look like it was meant to be!

I had done that when the car was NA but always had a buck/hesitation to it, which was annoying as hell, and I noticed the airflow to the radiator wasn't as good causing the motor to run hotter in the summer, I may cut the scoop out in the bumper more to open her up a bit

Default EForce Equipped

I have the 550 set up on my 2007 A6 and it has been on for two years without any issues and it is a blast to drive every day. Lots of drag racing and some road racing each season.

The set up makes 472 HP at the wheels along with torque of 465. A Corsa Sport exhaust is the only other mod and my best time on street tires at the strip is 11.5 at 123 mph. Moving to drag radials next summer as I have a hard time hooking up.

Just had one installed on my 05. Still working out the kinks, mainly idle problem. Fun to drive though.

Can I ask what is the boost with stock pulley (LS3 599 Unit)?
Then the next size smaller?
And then the next size smaller?
Thanks!

Stock kit is 3.5" and should run around 7 psi. 3.25" pulley should be ~9 psi. At the 3" and 2.75" pulley, you should increase injector size from the stock kit size. The 3" pulley should be ~11 psi and the 2.75" ~13 psi.

There should be an additional ~40 crank hp increase with each smaller pulley.

Two years with the 550 kit,

going to upgrade to 599, with wcch heads, cam and American racing headers. Should end up around 575-600 RWHP.
