Intresting

I would have sold mine in favor of a kit car I could build myself. After realizing I had my car for 10 years now I wont let this hiccup detour me. I am in no rush, just want to build the strongest motor possible.

I know, the engine I would replicate is the LSX from Kelly Bise that is holding 2200rwhp in the mile. Ill have to discuss what if any strength benefits I gain from billet aluminum
I agree to go with the L19's I've had them before and LOTS of people run them with E85 anyways and have no problem. Tuner crowd uses them on 1000+whp builds, just give it a shot.

ERL told me their 6 bolt superdeck application holds 15 kilos no problem. So far so good, about 80 dyno runs done and waiting summer. I'm using GMPP gaskets, made 1550 hp/1400 torq.

Yup the plan is to either replicate that motor through LME or have Kurt Urban build a Billet motor like in the AtomicZ

In either case I would like to be able to attend an event and get home without a flat bed

It along with my drive train have served me well. I can't comment on the RPS's condition as I have never seen a picture of it since install. I have been told it "looks" good.

Per driving it has a predictable engagement point with smooth operations and no chatter.

how does it feel on the street? i dont make the power you do, but i plan on adding 100 shot to my setup which should give it a nice Tq bump... and wanted to make sure that if i buy another clutch when i upgrade my drive train that its the Big boy clutch...

I enjoy the feel, firmer than stock by about 30%, similar characteristics. No chatter, no vibrations. Catches about 1-2" from the floor

IMO it's worthwhile to purchase

An awd vette would be awesome. I can't even imagine how that could be accomplished logistically

In reality, the most awkward part is front drive. As long as clearance can be found for a front diff and shafts, the rest is fairly doable.

I'm not saying any of it would be easy, but with enough money to pay for the engineering, it wouldnt be that difficult.

Realistically, use a GTR transmission and a lot of other problems are solved where you might try and use a more conventional transaxle or drop gear/transfer box arrangement.

My solution - Start fresh with a whole new motor

(cut)

but at this point Im tired of the car sitting for months while band-aids are applied. I want a definitive fix and finally be able to confidently drive it.

In the mean time I working through some simple repairs but should hopefully be back on the road in time for this winter chill in Knoxville to lift.

He hasn't.

What makes you think he or his builder have not issues?

Just saying..
