Damn $6K installed, if you live anywhere remotely close to FSP and don't get a S/C installed, you are just retarded. I would be on that like white on rice. Up here it's over $7K installed. AArrrrggghhh! Funny, my car was shipped up from FLA last month too.

Wait, what?! Even better than the $6k deal he's offering now? Sounds like I need to make a phone call ASAP!

FSP Supercharger update: Sold my pontoon boat! Gonna be contacting Matt real soon to get on the schedule. My 08 LS3 A6 car is completely stock at this time. Any input as to whether or not to go for LT headers while they are installing the blower? Would the extra cost be worth the hp increase or will the supercharger work well enough on the stock setup?

I plan on using my stock manifolds for a while before upgrading to LT and a meth kit. I'm just going to gut my stock cats, you'll be leaving power on the table with stock manifolds but it won't cause any problems.

That's where I'm headed too.. not ideal, but I'm cheap, so who cares

Plus I have to drop the drivetrain again soon and really don't want long tube headers in the way until I know some other issues are fixed

I was going to stick with the stock manifolds until reading about the horror stories of the cats getting clogged up. I just bought the cheapest OBX longtubes I could find and they went on without much issue. Blower's getting installed/tuned here in the coming weeks, can't wait to get it done.

I have done plenty of stock exhaust manifold/cats setup.. The stock cats are actually a lot better than most of the high flow cats on the market. However, when pushing a bunch of boost + methanol, there is not a cat that will live forever.

Assuming my stock LS3 can achieve 370hp on the dyno ya think we can add around 200hp with the supercharger? Ultimately, I would like to add a cam, headers and methanol for a 700rwhp goal. Am I dreaming or is this doable?

It is a 6 speed auto with 2.56 gears currently running 12.55 at 114 mph in 3rd gear.

I just watched a coupla guys install a methanol kit on a Youtube video and they got an 88hp increase out of a Camaro! Is that for real? It's a no brainer that Matt will be billing me for one of those bad boys real soon.

Meth by itself without a single other thing done (included tuning)? I don't think so

Meth + tune? Probably

Probably put a bit more boost into her at same time.. Or leaned on the timing. I don't lean on the timing, however, we definitely add some boost

I gained 65HP and 56TQ at the wheels on same mustang dyno with just meth and a very modest 0.5psi increase in boost across the board. It helps.

That is impressive! I watched the vid again, they definitely retuned the Camaro after the install. Here's a link:

This kit is from Snow, Matt @ FSP will be installing the ECS Dual Nozzle Alky Kit on mine next week. Oh yes! Forgot to mention, I met with him today and started the order for a Satin Black ECS 1500 kit, Comp/FSP custom grind cam, ECS methanol injection and American Racing headers! Hope to be dropping the car off sometime next week to basically double the horsepower.
