Whats the best route to go, turbo, supercharger or cam, heads and intake upgrade?
I have a basically stock o7 base c6 w/manual trans. I just am now doing the headers w/ hiflow cats and borla exhaust. it also has a CAI (k&N) and a ported TB by V-max. wondering if I should go the cam, intake & heads route or turbo or super charger for best bang for dollar?

if you go turbo. dont buy headers.
I did a turbo kit first. COMPLETEly stock LS7. made 816/843 with a turbo kit.
now i have the kit. everything i do will just be better. built motor more power.

Blower or turbo will get better mpg and more power than heads and cam. Drive nicer also. Granted, you can get stupid with a cam for blower or turbo, but it's not necessary to make big power. I picked up a used T trim A&A kit and fuel system for $4300. That's cheaper than buying heads and cam plus paying to have it all installed.

Heads Cam Nitrous just my opinion. If not Turbo kit.
Nice, what size turbos & how much boost?

Your better off telling us your budget. Don't forget the other stuff like clutch, tires, depending howuch power you are going for but diff. The little stuff adds up. If you only want about 650rwhp meth w 93 and your current fuel system will do but anything more than expect dropping another nice wad in the fuel system and then your limited by your motor which should be good around 700-800rwhp. Warning though.. Once boosted there's no turning back and everything gets that much more expensive! If you want the cheapest possible way a stout h/c nitrous car will do.. Nitrous w a good stand alone w c16.. Just remember the little stuff and factor that into your budget!

Supercharger is your best "bang for the buck", but only if it fits your needs. If your an avid road racer it's not the best option, H/C would be.
Nitrous gets old very fast, filling bottles, making sure the tank is warm or filling a Nano system. Plus by the time you install it correctly your not that far from a supercharger so no thanks for me personally.
Turbo's are fantastic, but there are a lot more parts involved and not a lot of room to fit them in a Vette.
Hope that helps, if you follow the boards here regularly you will see that most go supercharger on Corvettes.

Blower would be easiest. Now you have to decide between a centrifugal like A&A or ECS. One thing to note is that Paxton was bought by Vortech a while back. Many of the blowers have the same internals. It comes down to whose bracket you like along with customer service. ECS uses a smaller pulley and restricter plate to lower peak boost, but give you a better torque curve. The Edelbrock TVS2300 kit is nice, but a lot more expensive than the centri kits. About $5500 for centri and $7500 for Edelbrock. Magnuson has a TVS2300 kit that fits under the hood as well. It's about the same price as the Edelbrock.

For that power level I would run an ECS 1500 on a restrictor. You cn bolt their 6k system and make that power with stock drivability on pump gas with an easy tune. As money allows you can put a smaller restrictor, see 650rwhp and start thinking tires/ fuel system and clutch. When thats not enough you add meth and can really go crazy. ECS is the only kit that lets you grow in power by changing tunes and restrictor plates
Even though I am a big fan of turbos they are overkill for your goals
Heads/cam would need to be too radical to make that power, I would only recommend them if you were abid about track racing and heat was an issue
