My opinion is that if your looking for 8-900 at the wheels you need to ensure the motor is built to handle 1,100 at the wheels at least. With that said. I have about 7+K in my blower setup and about 10K in my engine from the oil pan to the intake manifold. the engine when pulleyed down will make quadruple digits. That's not including the rest of my drive train.

When you make the kind of power with a centri setup you want to make there's a lot of things to consider. One your going to need a fuel system. Your going to need at least an 8 rib belt system and possibly a direct drive it flip drive. Your going to have to run a YSi or bigger. You could probably get away with a novi 2K if you want to go with a Paxton blower but that would be pushing that blower. Your going to have to make about 20 lbs of boost with a 400 CID engine or 23+ with your stock displacement to do it with a YSi Your going to need one hell of a clutch. Don't forget about the rest of the drive line.

Id keep the static compression ratio at about 9.5 - 9.7 : 1
Bottom line that kind of power isn't cheap.

Hope that helps some.
