Default Nail in my new NT05R

Man- was in process of lowering my psi to go out for a few runs in mexico and noticed I have a nail in my rear tire. It is holding air, but the nail is at an angle and pretty deep. Can I get a tire shop to patch it or do you guys recommend me getting a new tire? Not sure how a patch would hold up on these tires. Any info will be appreciated.

as long as the nail is about an inch from the sides, you will be ok to patch

I had mine plugged. I made sure I told the shop I run north of 150 and asked if it was safe. They said no problem. They were right no issues.

Use a patch/plug combo and you should be good to go.

I always patch when I can. Just don't trust plugs going 150 MPG...

They make a patch that has a plug made into the center of it so that it plugs and patches at the same time.
