Default AA / ECS kit over stock pro charger kit?

Hey guys,

I've currently got the stock pro charger kit installed on my car with an upgraded head unit(D1SC). Would there be a large benefit to removing the front end of the ProCharger kit and replacing it with an ECS / AA kit? I mean the intake and intercooler areas of the system. The stock intake seems fairly restrictive to me so I wasn't sure if I should add it to my list of things to replace.

Thanks!

No. While I love the ECS kit and A&A kit it isn't worth swapping those parts. Get a DP big mouth intake and turn it up. The stock procharger plastic filter/intake piece kind of sucks but the intercooler/etc are fine.

Ok sweet thanks! That's the intake which makes you drop the radiator right?

Thanks!

Agree'd with Unreal. If you had an older C5 with the twin IC's ok, but not the C6 intercooler. Thanks for your interest in our products though.

Did you have to drop your radiator down in order for it to fit under the hood?

the DP big mouth you will have to cut the 2 top lips off the radiator, about 4-5 inches or so, then gently massage that part of the radiator down with a hammer, easy to do.

what power level are you at now, that big mouth will suck a ton more air so you are going to have to re-tune for the added boost, some more info on your set will help us help you
